They look weird with the rolling luggage instead of the backpacks. Don't particularly like these 2, but I will say I was impressed when Tiffany was recognized in the Tokyo airport.

strangely enough they have backbacks in the picture at the start of the thread. They must have change their mind. They obviously travel so it must have felt more confortable.

I still can't believe they have now finished last TWICE, and they are still there. Go away poker chicks.

I think I'm one of the only people in the world who actually likes these girls. I like Tiffany more than Maria, but they're still one of my favorite teams. hide.gif

I don't really dislike them but like to call them out on their lies.... and their skankiness. They are OK really.

I really can't find anything I really really don't like about any team this season.

I probably dislike Lance and whatshername the most -- he's just obnoxious, and she has such an annoying voice. Miss America irritated me week one or two, but not as much lately.

These 2 don't annoy me as much as I thought they would. I don't mind them still being around. The team that has surprisingly moved up to 2nd on my annoyance list is Brian & Ericka. It goes without saying that Lance & Keri are #1. But I've had enough of the interracial references shoved down my throat. It's not the 1950's, no one cares anymore.

With that said, Maria & Tiffany are more lucky than good racers. I can't see them lasting too much longer.

These girls deserve their due props today. They kicked butt on the rowing challenge, but especially the gold challenge. Luck played no part in their move up in the placement. Sam & Dan were the lucky ones to team up with them.

Very impressive. I'm liking this team more & more each week.

They kicked butt this week! I was so happy to see them finish this leg in second place. I think my two favorite teams are these girls and Meghan and Cheyne. And I think I kinda have a crush on Tiffany...wub.gif

I don't think these girls have ever chopped wood, because I'm thinking if Tiffany had wound up and swung that mallet like an axe they'd have been able to ring that bell. Maria's attempts were just pathetic.

Q&A with poker player Tiffany Michelle
Michelle hoping for another good run at this summer's World Series of Poker

By Case Keefer (contact)

Saturday, April 3, 2010 | 2:05 a.m.

Last summer was no ordinary three months for Tiffany Michelle.

Michelle — who rose to fame after being the last woman standing in the 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event and finishing in 18th out of 6,844 — had grown accustomed to spending her summers in the Rio ballrooms around the constant chirping of poker chips. But in 2009 she passed on the World Series of Poker life for the first time in four years to compete on CBS show, 'The Amazing Race.'

"It was weird being detached from the poker world," Michelle said. "This past summer, if you asked me to name three people who made the Main Event final table, I couldn't do it. I was out of touch with my industry."

Michelle is looking forward to her return to Las Vegas this summer.

She'll be playing in World Series events all summer and took the time to discuss it with The Sun.

Was it a tough decision to pick 'The Amazing Race' over the World Series of Poker last summer?

It was a really easy decision for me. Even though poker is very prominent in my life, I always like to surround it with everything else that I love. I know poker is there all the time — every day, any place, any buy-in you could want, you can find. I knew the World Series wasn't going anywhere.

So, what was harder: Outlasting 6,800 poker players in the Main Event or finishing sixth on The Amazing Race?

It was the Amazing Race 10 times over. It was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. I would do it again tomorrow, but it's a million times harder than it looks on TV when you are standing there in the Dubai Desert in 122 degrees weather searching for urns buried in the sand. The Main Event — I actually felt really confident in 2008. I think poker is much easier than pushing myself to the physical extreme.

How did you first get into poker?

I grew up in Los Angeles and was always involved in a lot of things with the entertainment industry. I got invited by a bunch of actors when Hollywood really jumped on the poker bandwagon to come to this $1/$2 cash game with a bunch of people for the industry just for fun and networking. I knew how to play, but I wasn't good by any means. I did that for about a year and a half before I really started to pick some things up.

You always hear people around poker say males have a tougher time playing against women and change their game around. Is there any truth to that?

I definitely noticed early on that I could get away with certain things. If I played a hand really strongly then I got a lot of respect at the table that I don't think a guy would have given normally. However, now I don't think my sex has anything to do with my game because I'm a recognizable player and people have seen how I play on TV. So, people actually want to target me instead of get away from me so they can have that "I beat Tiffany Michelle" story. But guys, for the most part, are a little scared of playing with women. It takes them out of their element.

What are you most looking forward to about the 2010 World Series of Poker?

I think it was a blessing in disguise that I didn't play last year, because there would have been a lot of pressure and eyes on me coming in to this past year's series. Even though it will be interesting to see how I do this summer, it's not like I have the last woman standing title. I'm going to go in there and play the best I can.

Win a Date with Poker Pro Tiffany Michelle
By Tom Jenkins - Apr 13th, 2010

On April 28th, the USA-friendly online poker site UB.com is offering members an opportunity to win a once-in-a-lifetime date with sponsored pro Tiffany Michelle through a unique freeroll. The tournament also features a $2,000 prize pool.

Michelle is a former contestant on the CBS reality series “Amazing Race,” which she competed in alongside Maria Ho. The winner of the freeroll will head to Hollywood and partake in a day of romance, baseball, drinks, and poker. What more could you ask for? The date begins at an L.A. Dodgers baseball game before the lucky bachelor will dine with Michelle at what UB.com refers to as a “swanky L.A. hotspot.” Then, the freeroll’s winner will attend a celebrity poker event before returning home. UB.com is including airfare to and from Los Angeles and hotel accommodation as part of the prize package.

Michelle was looking forward to her date, to be given out to a random online poker player. She told Poker News Daily, "I enjoy getting to meet the people I'm always playing with online, so I'm excited about this tournament. I think it's a cool prize that's never been done before. Even my friends and family are talking about taking a shot at this tournament and they don't even play poker! I'm totally a guy's kind of girl, so baseball, food, and poker is the perfect date. I’m just crossing my fingers that I get some good company!" Heading into Tuesday’s baseball action, the Dodgers sat at the bottom of their division with a lowly 2-4 record.

The freeroll kicks off on April 28th at 8:30pm ET. The password to the event will be Tweeted just before it begins, so interested players are encouraged to follow @ultimate_bet for more details. The tournament is only open to residents of the 48 contiguous United States. UB.com makes its home on the CEREUS Network alongside sister site Absolute Poker.

The promotion offering a date with Michelle is part of an ongoing tournament series featuring UB.com sponsored pros. In March, “Poker2Nite” host Joe Sebok gave away a memorable skydiving experience. At the end of 2010, whichever pro generates the largest player pool in his or her freeroll will take home $2,500 for a night on the town. Contrastingly, whichever pro held the smallest freeroll will serve as the concierge for the winning player. The UB.com pro tournaments are slated to take place every other month.

Michelle and Maria Ho ran the 15th season of “Amazing Race,” journeying to destinations like Vietnam, Cambodia, the United Arab Emirates, and the Netherlands. In the latter country, the pair struggled to hit a high striker, a popular carnival game in which contestants slam an oversized mallet in an attempt to ring a bell. Michelle and Ho, the only all-female team in the mix, fell short and were sent home in sixth place. Michelle and Ho were the last women standing in the 2008 and 2007 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Events, respectively. In 2009, that honor went to Spain’s Leo Margets, who finished in 27th place.

Michelle made waves during the 2008 WSOP Main Event by calling the clock in a hand she wasn’t involved in and professing her love for French fries. Nevertheless, she scored a 17th place finish in the prestigious $10,000 buy-in tournament and raked in $334,000. After a well-publicized battle with PokerNews, Michelle signed with UB.com in July 2008. PokerNews’ Tony G and Jeffrey Lisandro purportedly bought Michelle into the 2008 WSOP Main Event. However, on Day 5, she turned out in UB.com gear, resulting in the rift.

According to a press release distributed by UB.com, Michelle appears to be open to men or women winning the freeroll: “May the best man… or woman win.” Visit UB.com for more details.
