Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell

Rebecca Romijn, whose screen credits include the "X-Men" films and "Rollerball," is engaged to Jerry O'Connell. The couple became engaged over the weekend in New York after dating for a year, Us Weekly magazine reported. O'Connell's publicist, Joy Fehily, confirmed those details to The Associated Press.

"We couldn't be happier and are looking forward to the next chapter of our lives," the couple said in a joint statement. No other details were available.

Romijn, 32, was married to John Stamos (television's "Full House") for six years. They announced their split in April of last year and their divorce was finalized in March. She has since dropped Stamos from her last name.

Earlier this year, Romijn finished filming "Man About Town," which features O'Connell. They also worked together on "The Alibi," which has yet to be released. The 31-year-old O'Connell, whose films include "Stand by Me," "Jerry Maguire," "Tomcats" and "Mission to Mars," stars in the NBC medical crime drama, "Crossing Jordan."

Bo Bice Welcomes New 'Idol' Rocker

flip-g.jpg

Bo Bice

No more idle time for this Idol. Bo Bice and his wife, Caroline Fisher, welcomed son Aidan Bice into the world on Saturday, September 24, according to Bice's RCA representative, Roger Widynowski. It's the first child for both. None of the tyke's vital statistics--or even place of birth--were released, though Bice and his missus have reportedly been spending most of their time in Nashville.

The "American Idol" runner-up, 29, met Fisher, 24, two years ago in his prefame days as a guitar store clerk in Hoover, Alabama. The fledgling rocker became a regular at the restaurant where Fisher waited tables and the duo quickly began a relationship. They tied the knot in their homestate on June 15.

The baby news tops off a banner year for the long-haired rocker, who last May nabbed second place to country fried crooner, Carrie Underwood on the Fox reality hit. Bice's good luck streak continued when his debut single, "Inside Your Heaven"/"Vehicle," opened at number one on the singles chart, knocking bona fide winner Underwood out of the top spot.

But it hasn't all been smooth sailing for the southern songster. While performing onstage as part of the "Idols Live!" tour last August, Bice suffered a broken foot, but planned to soldier on with the remaining dates. Unfortunately, the erstwhile performer received a second blow when he was sidelined for good later in the month after undergoing emergency surgery to remove a blockage in his intestines.

But even a little hospital stay didn't stop the big-hearted crooner from helping those in need. In the wake of Hurricane Katrina, Bice temporarily donated his Helena, Alabama home to a New Orleans family of four left homeless by the city's flooding. "I wanted to do anything I could," Bice told People earlier this month.

The rocker relocated to Nashville with his wife to work on his upcoming record. He plans on leaving his Alabama home open to victims of the hurricane for at least six to eight months. Bice's debut album will be released on RCA Records this fall.

New York mogul, TV star Trump's wife pregnant

r1767570898.jpg

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Donald Trump's wife Melania Knauss is pregnant with the real estate mogul's fifth child, Trump's spokeswoman said on Tuesday.

The 59-year-old entrepreneur and star of the NBC television show "The Apprentice" has three children with his first wife Ivana Trump and one with his second wife Marla Maples.

He married Knauss, 35, a Slovenian model, in a lavish ceremony in Florida in January attended by a host of celebrities from former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani to singer Billy Joel and journalist Katie Couric.

Trump was already famous as a property and casino mogul when he moved into American living rooms in 2003 as star of hit television show "The Apprentice," in which young contestants vie to show their business savvy and win a spot working on a Trump venture.

The New York Post said the baby was due in the spring.

Trump's spokeswoman Norma Foerderer said the Post report that Trump's wife was pregnant was true but she declined to give any further details.

Donald Trump's empire keeps on expanding, but his newest addition is on the home front. Norma Foerderer, a Trump spokeswoman, confirmed a report that the 59-year-old real estate mogul-TV reality star's wife, Melania, is pregnant. "The baby is due in the spring," said Foerderer, adding that the child's gender is not yet known.

It would be the first child for the 35-year-old model and commercial actress, who lived with Trump for three years before they exchanged vows in January. Melania, who has appeared in numerous print ads and graced the covers of Vogue and British GQ magazines, is Trump's third wife. He has four children from his previous marriages: Donald Jr., 27; Ivanka, 23; and Eric, 21, with first wife Ivana Trump, and Tiffany, 11, with second wife Marla Maples.

Trump and his Slovenian-born bride were married in Palm Beach, Fla. The setting for their opulent reception was Trump's $42 million Versailles-inspired ballroom at his Mar-a-Lago estate and club. The New York Post, which first reported the news about the pregnancy, said the mother-to-be planned to spend time recuperating at Mar-a-Lago after giving birth.

Trump's NBC reality show, "The Apprentice," is now in its fourth season.

Jennifer Jason Leigh and Noah Baumbach

Jennifer Jason Leigh has left her days as a single white female behind. The prolific actress tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, indie, "Kicking and Screaming" director Noah Baumbach, over Labor Day weekend, People reports. The groom, 36, confirmed the nuptial news recently at the New York Film Festival premiere of his newest flick, "The Squid and the Whale."

"I expect to be with her the rest of my life," Baumbach said of his new bride. It's the first marriage for both Leigh, 43, and the director. The bicoastal couple plan to split their time between Leigh's home state of California and Baumbach's beloved Big Apple. He explains, "We're New Yorkers with a country place in Los Angeles."

The cinematic duo may have to postpone any immediate honeymoon plans: Baumbach is busy promoting his upcoming drama, which was widely considered a highlight of the Sundance Film Festival and earned Baumbach the award for Best Dramatic Directing. The semi-autobiographical flick, starring Laura Linney and Jeff Daniels as a divorcing couple, opens in limited release October 5.

Next up, the fledgling hubby reteams with "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" co-writer Wes Anderson for an adaptation of Roald Dahl's best-seller, "The Fantastic Mr. Fox." Details about the project are being kept under tight wraps. Baumbach is best known for directing 1995's "Kicking and Screaming" and 1997's "Mr. Jealousy."

For her part, newlywed Leigh is getting ready to pull double duty on the big screen with two upcoming projects. The relationship drama, "Lymelife," costarring Alec Baldwin and Cynthia Nixon, hits theaters later this year, and Leigh recently signed on to appear in the upcoming British comedy, "Funny Farm" opposite Kathy Bates. Shooting on the picture begins next year.

Jennifer Jason Leigh has several film credits to her resume. Most notable are "Fast Times at Ridgemont High," "Single White Female" and "Dolores Claiborne." Among her other numerous films are "Backdraft," "Rush," "Washington Square," "Georgia," "Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle," "The Hudsucker Proxy" and "The Anniversary Party."

It's a Bird, It's a Plane . . . No, It's a Cage

Proud Parents ~ Nicolas and Alice Kim Cage

Oscar-winning actor Nicolas Cage, 41, is a new father. His wife, Alice Kim Cage, 21, gave birth Monday, October 3 to a boy, Kal-el Coppola Cage, in New York City, said Cage's Los Angeles-based publicist, Annett Wolf. No other details were available. Kal-el is Cage's second child. Cage and model Kristina Fulton have a son, Weston Coppola Cage, born in 1992.

"They are healthy and happy and it's quite lovely," Wolf said by phone from New York. Cage is a nephew of filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola, of 'Godfather' fame. Cage shares a name in common with his new wife. He was born on January 7, 1964 in Long Beach, California and given the name of Nicholas Kim Coppola.

Nicolas and Alice Kim Cage

Apparently choosing names from the pages of comic books is nothing new for Cage. He changed his name early in his career in order to try to make his own way in acting without benefiting from his uncle's reputation. He chose the name 'Cage' after the Marvel comic book hero, Luke Cage, Power Man.

Besides being cast in numerous roles of comic strip characters, Cage is obviously a big fan of comic books. His favorite character is Marvel Comics' Ghost Rider. a carnival motorcyclist bent on revenge. In July, he landed the role of Johnny Blaze, the alter ego of Ghost Rider. The movie, "Ghost Rider" is slated for 2006.

Cage and Kim met in February, 2004 when Cage visited a Los Angeles sushi restaurant where she was working as a waitress. The couple became engaged in April, 2004 and were married on July 30, 2004 at a private ceremony at a northern California ranch. It was the third marriage for Cage and the first for his new wife, who was 20 when they were wed.

Cage, 41, won an Best Actor Oscar for his role in "Leaving Las Vegas." His other screen credits include "Lord of War," now in theaters, "Adaptation," "Honeymoon in Vegas" and "Moonstruck." Following a long standing family tradition, Cage has also tried his hand at producing and directing.

nicolascagealicekim2.jpg

The road to marriage has been a rocky one for Cage. He was previously married to "Medium's" Patricia Arquette. They were married on April 8, 1995 and divorced on May 18, 2001. Their relationship made tabloid headlines with rumors of domestic disturbances and frequent separations.

Cage married Lisa Marie Presley on August 10, 2002 at a secret ceremony in Hawaii. They were separated after 107 days in December, 2002. Cage and Presley were officially divorced on May 16, 2004. Cage was quoted about his marriage to Lisa Marie Presley, "I'm sad about this, but we shouldn't have been married in the first place."

Chris Cagle Sings 'Anyone But Mine'

chris_cagle1.jpg

Chris Cagle

Over the last few days, Nashville star, Chris Cagle's life has provided enough fodder for an album's worth of material. The "Anywhere but Here" crooner released a statement on his web site Tuesday, October 4 acknowledging that he is not the biological father of girlfriend Tammy Wheeler's baby. Wheeler's son, Cannon Dale, was born over the weekend, though no further details were released.

"As many of you are aware, I had been anxiously awaiting the addition of a new baby to my life," the statement reads. "The baby has been born, and both mother and child are in good health. Since the birth, however, we have discovered that biologically the child is not mine."

The singer continues: "As excited as I was about becoming a new father, my disappointment now is equally strong. Out of respect for all that are involved, please allow this situation to remain private and know that I will not be commenting further on this very personal matter."

Though it would have been the first child for the country star, Cagle already has plenty of experience as a father figure. The "Chicks Dig It" songster was previously married to Texas schoolteacher Elizabeth Filer from 2001-2003. The couple reconnected after having an earlier relationship that ended nearly 12 years prior. In the duo's time apart, she had been married and had two kids of her own.

"Those kids were the best thing I've ever found when I wasn't looking for anything," Cagle told Country Weekly in 2003. "But I wasn't looking for children. I wasn't sure about that," he told the magazine. "But those babies are precious."

He rose to fame in 2001 after the rerelease of his debut album, "Play It Loud." The record spawned two number-one singles, "Laredo" and "I Breathe In, I Breathe Out." Cagle is currently on tour supporting his third album, "Anywhere but Here," which was released Tuesday, October 4 on Capitol Records.

'Mission Impossible' Tom & Katie Expecting

Batten down the hatches, not to mention Oprah Winfrey's on-set furniture: Tom Cruise is having a baby. The amped-up star, who spent the summer on "Spinal Tap 11," declaring his love for Katie Holmes on talk shows, in magazine interviews and atop the Eiffel Tower, is expecting a child with his "magnificent" bride-to-be.

News of the joint production was first trumpeted Wednesday, October 5 by People magazine. "I can confirm that," spokeswoman Marlan Willard said when asked about the report, but added that she had no information about a due date or any other details.

A statement from Cruise's chief publicist, his sister and the Cruise-Holmes spawn's future aunt, Lee Anne DeVette, confirmed the pregnancy to E! "They are so happy," DeVette said of the expectant parents. There was no word on when the child, the couple's first, was due. DeVette added, "Tom and Katie are very excited, and the entire family is every excited." No wedding date for the couple has been set.

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise announce happy news

Even in fast-moving celebrity circles, where Renee Zellweger can go from single to married to awaiting an annulment in nine months, the Cruise-Holmes relationship has evolved at lightning speed. Before April, when the duo began making very public displays of affection, it seemed unlikely that Hollywood's reigning box-office king would share a conversation, much less a paparazzi shot, with the onetime "Dawson's Creek" TV star.

Last fall, in an interview with Seventeen, Holmes spoke of the nearly 20-years-older Cruise only in hypothetical, schoolgirl-crush terms. "I think every little girl dreams about [her wedding]," she told the magazine. "I used to think I was going to marry Tom Cruise."

At the time, Holmes was due to marry "American Pie" star Chris Klein, her longtime fianc

Rachael Ray's Recipe for Love: Italian Style

rachaeljohn.jpg

John Cusimano and Rachael Ray

Food Network hostess Rachael Ray found the perfect recipe for love when she married longtime beau, John Cusimano, in a vineyard in Montalcino, Italy. They exchanged vows on Saturday, September 24. The perky couple met at a party about two years ago.

Ray, 36, hosts "30 Minute Meals," "$40 a Day" and "Tasty Travels!" on the Food Network and is about to begin a joint venture with Oprah Winfrey's production company for a new syndicated talk show. Ray is also about to enter a familar Oprah publishing territory with her own magazine, "Every Day with Rachael Ray" as well as an eleventh cookbook. Cusimano is a New York entertainment lawyer by day and rocker by night with his band, The Cringe.

In a recent Newsweek interview, Ray sang the culinary praises of her new husband: "If you can believe it, John can hold his own in an apron. A big line guys use with me is 'I can cook.' So I always asked them, 'OK, so what did you make last night?' Ninety percent of them say chili," Ray explained.

"John told me he cooked tilapia with tomatillo and a maque choux - a Cajun dish of corn, cream, bell peppers and tomatoes. He had me at tilapia," Ray giggled. Ray later incorporated her fiance's coup pickup line into a recipe, John's Fish, in a '30 Minute' book.

"Don't we look like brother and sister?" a beaming Ray asked the interviewer. "We are incredibly in sync," she says. "We cook all the time," Ray says, beaming again. "Well, when I have time." You get the feeling no one's watching the clocks on their nights in.

When asked to explain how the Food Network star inspired his current single, "Burn," Cusimano said the song was about his feelings toward Ray and not about her culinary ability. "When Rachael is with me I 'Burn' whether it's with love or desire or friendship or just the weight of my feelings."

the lead vocalist and guitarist for 'The Cringe.'

Further explaining his muse, Cusimano said, "When she's not with me, which can be a lot because of our busy schedules, I 'Burn' with the feeling of missing her. That's what that song is about . . . having a feeling for someone that is beyond words."

Even though the wedding's location takes place beside an Italian castle, Ray would like everyone invited to her wedding to know that it's okay to dress casually. "You can come in blue jeans if you want," Ray told Newsweek. "I'm going to wear a dress I picked out in 28 minutes. It's Vera Wang, but it was the cheapest one in the store."

Tracey and Jon Stewart

Jon Stewart will be a father again this time to a daughter. Stewart's wife, Tracey, is pregnant with the couple's second child, Tony Fox, a spokesman for Comedy Central, confirmed. The baby, known to be a girl, is due in February. The couple's first child, Nathan Thomas, was born July 3, 2004.

"I don't know that much about women," Stewart, host of the 'Daily Show,' said of his concerns during a recent appearance on CBS' "The Late Show With David Letterman." The 42-year-old comedian joked, "A girl, she's going to want me to have tea with her and her panda. Like, what am I going to do with that?"

Letterman's Baby Boom

letterman11.jpg

Jon Stewart on 'The Late Show with David Letterman'

And the number one reason to go on the Late Show with David Letterman:

  1. To announce your impending fatherhood.
Jon Stewart and Woody Harrelson both used their recent couch time with Dave to announce their wives' respective pregnancies. During his appearance on the CBS show last week, Daily Show host Stewart, 42, revealed that he and Tracey, 37, his wife of five years, are expecting their second child. The Emmy-winning fake-news anchor and his wife, a veterinary technician, welcomed their first child, son Nathan Thomas, on July 3, 2004.

The fledgling bun-in-the-oven, a girl, is due in February. "I don't know that much about women," Stewart said on the show. "A girl, she's going to want me to have tea with her and her panda. Like, what am I going to do with that?"

Stewart declared his confidence in raising a son, "A boy child, I feel like I'll know how to deal with it if he has a problem. I'll just be able to say to him, 'Well, repress it,' and he will hopefully swallow that, as I have. And then you figure you have 30 years before it comes out over dinner where somebody spills the gravy and then you're like, 'I hate you!' "

Laura Louie and Woody Harrelson

The expectant news continued Tuesday, October 11 when Harrelson also felt the need to announce his burgeoning brood. While promoting his new film, "The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio," Harrelson disclosed that he and his wife, Laura Louie, are expecting an addition of their own. "The wife is preggers . . . and we've narrowed it down to me," said the former "Cheers" star, 44.

Harrelson and Louie, 40, already have two daughters: Denni Montana, 12, and Zoe Giordano, 9. No word on the sex or due date of baby number three. In addition to impending diaper duty, the Oscar-nominated, Emmy-owning actor is keeping plenty busy.

Harrelson has recently wrapped production on two films, including Robert Altman's latest all-star ensemble piece, "A Prairie Home Companion," with three more in the works. He currently stars opposite Julianne Moore in "The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio." Harrelson also appears alongside Oscar-winner Charlize Theron in the drama, "North Country," opening on Friday, October 14.

'Blossom' Baby in Bloom

Mayim_Bialik.jpgtn.DC.236686.jpg

Mayim Bialik . . . Then and Now

"Blossom" has blossomed indeed. All grown up former child star, Mayim Bialik, has given birth to a baby boy, her publicist confirmed to E! The child, born Tuesday, October 11, in Los Angeles, California, is the first for Bialik and husband, Michael Stone. Bialik's manager, Judy Coppage, said both baby and mom are doing "fine."

Bialik's representative would not divulge the name or vital statistics of the newborn at this time. Until recent appearances on Showtime's "Fat Actress" and HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm," Bialik, now 29, had been keeping a relatively low profile in Hollywood since the demise of "Blossom" a decade ago, according to a recent interview in People magazine.

Bialik has been focusing instead on her education--and what she described as a "rebellious phase." Of course, "rebellious" is all relative. Bialik made those comments just before she graduated from UCLA in 2000. She subsequently went on to pursue a Ph.D. in neuroscience, where she met Stone, a fellow student.

BREAK2_s1.18_s1.jpg

Mayim Bialik and Renee Taylor in 'Kalamazoo?'

Bialik's breakout role came as a young Bette Midler in the 1988 film, "Beaches." She followed that up with guest stints on "The Facts of Life," "Murphy Brown," "MacGyver," "Empty Nest" and "Doogie Howser, M.D." before landing what became her best known role as the spunky, wisecracking teen, Blossom Russo on the 1991-95 NBC sitcom, "Blossom," that costarred Joey Lawrence and Jenna von Oy.

Aside from a recurring role on "The John Larroquette Show," Bialik spent the rest of the decade mostly doing voice over work for such shows as "Hey Arnold!," "Recess," "The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest," "The Secret Files," "X2: Wolverine's Revenge" and more recently, "Kim Possible." She also has added her talents to independent movies such as "Kalamazoo?" with Renee Taylor.

Bialik upped her profile in March by cameoing as herself in two episodes of "Fat Actress" opposite Kirstie Alley. Two weeks ago, she appeared on "Curb Your Enthusiasm," playing Jodi Funkhouser, a lesbian who briefly becomes straight and then becomes gay again--all due to Larry David's meddling.

Noah Wyle may be out of "ER," but he was back to the hospital this weekend--the maternity ward, that is. The former TV doc and his wife, Tracy, welcomed daughter Auden Wyle on Saturday, October 15, People reports. The poetically named babe, whose moniker comes from W. H. Auden, was born in Los Angeles and tipped the scales at 7 pounds, 7 ounces.

"Mom and baby are doing great," Wyle's representative, Eddie Michaels, told the magazine. "Everyone is thrilled." Auden is the couple's second child. She joins big brother Owen Strausser Wyle, who turns three next month.

Last May, he made headlines as his Dr. John Carter hung up his stethoscope at County General. Wyle had played the role for 11 and earned five Emmy nominations. Upon leaving the Thursday night staple, Wyle expressed the desire to spend more time with his family.

Now he's got a little more family to spend his time with. "I've got a son, I've got a family and friends that said goodbye to me 12 years ago and are wondering when I'm coming back," the actor told E! when he announced he was exiting "ER." "And I've got this little urge to scratch a different kind of itch in my career."

And scratch he has. In addition to diaper duty, Wyle is keeping plenty busy with big-screen projects. The actor will next be seen in the drama, "The Californians" alongside Illeana Douglas and Cloris Leachman, opening Friday, October 21.

Brooke Shields . . . 'Suddenly Pregnant!'

Brooke200x250.jpg

Brooke Shields

Actress Brooke Shields, who turned a battle with postpartum depression into a book, is pregnant with her second child, her publicist said Thursday, October 27. The baby is due in the spring, Alan Eichorn confirmed.

After Shields and husband, Christopher Thomas Henchy, gave birth to daughter Rowan Francis in 2003, Shields chronicled her post-pregnancy experiences in "Down Came the Rain: My Journey Through Postpartum Depression." The book was published in May.

The "Suddenly Susan" actress said she considered swallowing a bottle of pills or jumping out the window at her lowest point. A doctor later attributed her feelings to a plunge in her estrogen and progesterone levels and prescribed the antidepressant Paxil.

So, what happens if Brooke Shields runs into Tom Cruise at the OB-GYN's office? The mind boggles at that potentially uncomfortable celebrity moment with word that Shields was expecting her second child with screenwriter husband, Christopher Henchy.

Shields' publicist confirmed the actress' pregnancy Thursday, October 27 to E! Entertainment Television. The baby was said to be due in the spring. Shields, 40, and Henchy, 41, wed in 2001. Their daughter, Rowan Francis, was born in 2003.

Another Ledger on the Books

20050913heath.jpg

Michelle Williams and Heath Ledger

"The Brother Grimm" is now a happy father. Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams became first-time parents Friday, October 28 after welcoming a daughter into the world, according to Us Weekly and Extra. Matilda Rose Ledger reportedly made her big debut in Brooklyn, where the couple is currently residing.

The "Dawson's Creek" alum, 25, and her Aussie beau, 26, began dating last June after meeting on the Canadian set of the upcoming Ang Lee gay-themed western, "Brokeback Mountain," in which they play husband and wife.

The publicity-shy couple has been trying to keep their relationship on the down-low. Though they have not confirmed it, several published reports indicate Ledger and Williams are engaged, but no date has been set. None of the baby's vital statistics were released to the public either.

highly acclaimed western, 'Brokeback Mountain.'

The actors were equally hush-hush about their pregnancy, leaving the tabloids to speculate by virtue of "belly watch" alone. Even after the birth was widely reported, Williams' publicist was mum. "At this point we are not commenting," Mara Bauxbaum said recently.

While several Australian newspapers report that native son Ledger will be bringing his New York-reared companion and their new baby Down Under once promotional duties for 'Mountain' ends, he won't say for sure.

"I am actually thinking of going to live in Italy," the actor said earlier this year while promoting another upcoming film, the romantic comedy, "Casanova" with Sienna Miller. "We have a few places up our sleeves. I would much rather work in Europe than in America."

Ledger first earned his status as heartthrob material in the teen romantic comedy, "10 Things I Hate About You." He flirted with the A-list with a high-profile role alongside fellow Aussie Mel Gibson in "The Patriot" and then as the lead in "A Knight's Tale."

In addition, Ledger merited a reputation as a lothario off the movie screen as well. He has previously been romantically linked--and unlinked--with older women Naomi Watts, Heather Graham and "Roar" costar Lisa Zane.

For her part, Williams gained popularity as Capeside's vixen-next-door, Jen Lindley in the WB hit, "Dawson's Creek," where she starred for six years alongside another soon-to-be maternity ward visitor, Katie Holmes.

Of late, Williams has focused on art-house projects, including "The Station Agent," "Me Without You" and "The United States of Leland." Prior to coupling with Ledger, she was linked with Bright Eyes' singer Conor Oberst and "The Royal Tenenbaums'" bit player, Donal Lardner Ward.

In addition to plenty of diaper duty, the new parents have a lot on their respective plates. Mama is set to shoot the drama, "The Hawk is Dying," opposite Paul Giamatti and former 'Dawson's' love interest Michael Pitt, next year.

Papa, meanwhile, wraps up promotional duties on "Brokeback Mountain" and "Casanova," out November 30, before starring in an untitled surfing drama. The highly anticipated "Brokeback Mountain," costarring Jake Gyllenhaal, hits theaters December 9.

Barton, who broke up with oil heir Brandon Davis in July, and Adler, whose failed engagement to Rod Stewart's daughter Kimberly reportedly resulted in her altering a tattoo from "Daddy's Little Girl Loves Cisco" to "Daddy's Little Girl Loves Disco," have been spotted dining around L.A.

It's 'Late Night' with Conan's Baby O'Brien

conan_liza.jpg

Conan and Liza Powel O'Brien

Conan O'Brien's got plenty of late nights ahead of him--and they have nothing to do with his day job. "The Late Night" host and his wife of three years, Liza Powel O'Brien, welcomed their son, Beckett O'Brien on Wednesday, November 9 at 8:27 p.m. in New York City. Beckett weighed in at 8 pounds, 4 ounces and is the couple's second child. Beckett's big sister, Neve, was born in 2003.

The peacock network statement proclaims, "Mother, baby and father are all well." O'Brien, 42, met Powel, an ad executive, in 2000, when she appeared on his show during a skit on advertising. The couple dated for nearly a year and a half before tying the knot in January 2002 in her hometown of Seattle.

While O'Brien has long dominated his late-night slot, he will--eventually--bring his trademark shtick to an earlier audience. Last year, Jay Leno announced on-air that his fiery-haired comrade would be taking over "The Tonight Show" when he steps down in 2009. For now, there's no word on when new papa O'Brien will resume his 'Late Night' hosting duties, but it may be sooner rather than later.

Last night's episode, originally scheduled to be new with guests Sarah Silverman, Donald Trump and Patti Smith, was replaced with a repeat featuring Will Ferrell and band Louis XIV. As of press time, NBC's Website lists Thursday night's episode as new, with guests Robert Downey Jr., Steve Irwin and musical guests Alison Kraus & Union Station.
