I hope there is not a connection because he has tried to throw her under the bus a few time. I think that actually James was "discovered" in a bar and they asked him to apply and maybe Ryan too because of Jen. BUT, Sheila did sign up to go on the show and basically went on to sell her book (she said it many times in the first few weeks in the house). I agree, that the C* word is terrible but I honestly think that some of the younger generation do not look at it as bad of a word as people in their 40's, 50's. I'm sure that people on the boards will argue with me and tell me that I'm wrong but I have heard the word quite a bit from the younger generation and I think that they equate it with bitch or slut. I'm not EXCUSING their behavior because of their age, just stating an observation. Survey says? Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me! I KNOW that Sheila has heard that saying before because she and I are about the same age...you know, you hear??? These HG's signed up for the show, they know how the show works and how crazy people get being cooped up. Granted, they don't reaaaaally understand til they are in it themselves, but it was voluntary NOT mandatory. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen!! He has not stepped up to do that yet but I think he is the only one that might want to protect a woman. Maybe it is just that he loves him mommy that makes me think he would do that. Words that were considered insults and below the belt when I was in school are now thought to be terms of endearment. If someone calls me a bitch I consider that a call to arms but I hear young men refer to their "bitch" all the time as their girfriend laughs a giggles about it.
