It makes people feel like the cool person to root for the bad boy look. If James just had short regular hair and dressed with just jeans and teeshirt then there would not be this James fan club. How he condems the others for being on a reality tv show, yet he is there. Also, the guy is just slimey. Doing gay porn movies to support yourself so you can be a bum and ride your bike around the country irks me. At least James tells them to their face that he's coming after those who f**ked him over. Sheila just lies, is a hypocrite, backstabs, thinks she's better than everybody and whines and cries when she's up on the block. Personally, I want Sheila gone. I don't think Adam has the guts to do it though. Other than that, Natalie can go as well. I heard enough of "God wants the good people to win" crap last year. I wonder what she is basing her premise on. She's stripped, given Matt BJ's (outside the confines of marriage... I'm pretty sure Christians are pretty into marriage being first) and conveniently lies just like the rest of them do. I have to wonder if she is going to pick a "magic ping pong ball" too. Win it all James!!! I 100% agree with you Misha!! I'm a James fan!! He's interesting and gives us all something to talk about. Who cares that he chews his toenails and that it's gross. People eat their boogers, don't wash their hands after the use the bathroom, etc. Sure the pubic hair stuff was gross but I think that he thinks that he's being funny! I think that he does it for the "shock" value because he just doesn't give a f*** what anybody thinks of him. I have to admire that quality in a person even if I disagree with their values/morals or what they are doing. He doesn't try to pretend he's someone else (like SOME of the HG's). Neither would freak on Matty like Josh did to Amanda, (unless I missed something earlier in the season.) James is afraid of Matty and got him out. Matty's no bad a$$ but he'll get loud in someone's face if needed. James used Matty's lie that hurt no one to get him out. While quiet Ryan shakes his hand, back doors him putting him on the block and votes for mystery box and he's safe. I'm thinking Matty, Adam and possibly Sheila stayed under radar not playing hard to win any comp. Everyone looked at a win as being strong. My son and husband said if they were on the show they wouldn't win unless it was near the end if you're not putting people up or taking veto's away from them they think you're weak. The HG did say the ones that didn't win are useless and no threat and got the others out first. I guess with all the reality show people sometimes you love them and then at times you hate them. Clearly, you both have very strong opinions about this and you have proven your point, I stand corrected. James does pretend that he's someone else. I guess what I was trying to say is that he doesn't care what people think about him and he just does what he does. Since I don't know him personally, I think that he's a freakazoid but I still like him. Would I want him to date my daughter (if I had one)? I really find nothing interesting about him, and his whole demeanor to me is off. I hate that bow tie tat on his neck/chest, and just from what I have seen on the show, I would not even care to talk with him, I personally find him booorrring, he really has nothing to say that is very interesting and I absloutely think he talks out of both sides of his mouth. He wants that 500 thou baaaddd, he will do anything, and to me he does not hide it every well tryin to act all nochalant(sp). I have to say that the toenail incident really is gross and by the fact that he doe not care what people think does not make it acceptable conduct, even if he thinks he is bein the funniest guy in the world, it does not make me want to laugh with him. I am not a huge conformist and never have been but I can't find anything about this guy to find interesting, funny or acceptable. If James is still under contract with the porn company that produced his vids, he may have had to sign something, stating that he cannot have sex on video or online for a certain amount of time... I have heard people say that it's prob because of Chelsia's parents, but, if he has a signed agreement, then CBS would have to honor it... Like I said, completely a random thought... They are playing up the sweet Iowa girl falling in love with the boy from the wrong side of the tracks, that is now riding his bike across the world for charity.
