Big Brother Rumors

These are "wanna be" actors. I don't think a single person here is real, going back to a real job. Even Matt mentioned he is now moving to LA. I am sure to start that new career.

I hate this season as compared to seasons of past. I didn't even watch the show last night and several other nights. I skim the dailys and turn 24/7 on occasionally when I have nothing else to do.

Thank goodness, I have plenty to do!

Bottom line is this season is an INSULT to the original Big Brother fans and the fans that have been loyal since the first seasons.

It is like they are throwing us to the curb and trying to rope in the young thrill seeking trash TV crowd.

They really scraped the bottom of the barrel finding these hgs. I just don't get it. In past BBs, by now I would have come up with a houseguest that I really like but I can't stand any of these nutjobs. What's really puzzling me is that I think I'm being drawn to Matt. ewwwwwwwwwwwww!

Yeah, he's an a$$hole but if someone was throwing themselves at me the way Natalie is, that would turn me off too. No challenge there. She's not only ready to give the milk away but she's willing to give the whole farm away!

I am still enjoying it! I am enjoying the antics, I am enjoying watching the plotting, I am enjoying the whole thing... What I am finding intersting is how BB is cutting and pasting their footage together... Last night they showed Nat and Matt having a kiss and then Matt saying that was it... then the pinky swear.... ummmm that happened in the first week of the house...

Marty, I so agree. I have missed the past three episodes on TV, and DON'T CARE. If it had been season's past, I would have been pissed for missing them. This season is so much more than an insult.

I just had a thought (At least I don't think I've read it on here yet ...) :excl:

What if during the LIVE competition tonight, they bring in all of the evicted houseguests ... like we've all been speculating ... but instead of competing to see which one of them is brought back, they ALL compete (evicted and current alike) to see who stays in the house and who goes. Therefore anyone could have a chance to come back in the house, BB could bring the house count up to the typical numbers for this point in the game, and they continue on as single players. :o That'd really shake things up!!! AND it's a competition that goes on past the live show and the rest of the world doesn't know who stays and who goes until Sunday.

This would be the best BB ever if they did do that. I love the way everyone thinks here at Morty's. I hope tonight's show is not a let down.

Thats typical BB. They have done that for years. That is why it is a completely different show for those who ONLY watch the CBS show as opposed to those who watch the feeds/read the updates.

So true! The editing really skews the "reality".

If I only watched the 3 weekly tv shows...I'd be bored to tears with this season and wouldn't have a clue at how truly dysfunctional this group is.

Here is my thought. I don't think that it was a coincidence that they started with 16 HG/8 couples. You one couple as the F2, and the other 7 couples form the 7 person jury.

Now, Neil leaving may have thrown a wrench into their original design, but I think that perhaps they brought in an alternate who is in sequester getting to know his/her new partner, Jacob.

That being said, after the eviction tonight there will be 4 couples in the house and 4 couples that have been evicted. If they bring back all four evicted couples they can create two houses within one. The evicted HG can compete against the current HG to retain a place in the house to compete for the money. I think that they are going to combine the sequester house and the BB house and the jury will live with the current HG -- just to shake things up and grant the wish of many of camera's in the sequester house.

Over the course of the next couple of weeks, everytime the HG hear the siren they have to report to the living room and the current HG will have to compete against the evicted HG and whoever wins is the one who will continue to play for a chance to win the prize money. The couples that loses will in turn be an "evicted" couple. The couples that compete in this competition will be chosen from a hat (or the POV bag).

For instance, first competition couple pulled from current HG bag is James/Chelsia and the first couple picked from evicted HG bag is Amanda/Alex. Those two couples compete in some sort of competition and the winner is in the game .... the loser is the evicted couple. If Amanda/Alex win they are back in the game and James/Chelsia have now been "evicted" from the BB house and not eligible to win BB. According to the note they received, it said that the sound could go off anytime in the "coming weeks". Therefore, they could define the time that over the next three weeks .... the members of the jury and the current HG could change.

There would still be an HOH (from the current HG) and they would still nominate two couples for eviction, have a POV competition and such. This would definitely change how the HG play the game and if the "evicted" HG are living in the house with them, it would defiintely change the dynamics of the house.

i didn't mean to say that this season was only for the younger crowd, i meant that they were maybe trying to gain a younger audience for this season and hope to keep them for future seasons.

and the whole part about dealing with it wasn't meant to be taken so harshly. everyone complains about this being the worst season ever. no other drama has had so much drama within the first couple weeks. and a lot of other people agree like gretchen from house calls, robyn the casting agent, and many other websites. i think like other people have said before, we are lucky that we even got a season during the winter. this is the first season during the winter and not to mention that they didn't have much time. and everyone is going to say that they shouldn't have had a season. well, maybe they shouldn't have but, a lot of people are enjoying the bb season during the winter. and if there wasn't a season going on, what would you be doing? probably complaining that we still had to wait another couple months or so before the next one started. i'm glad to have a season right now. i love bb no matter how bad the cast may be. bb is one show that i will watch no matter what. and a lot of people agree. they have the live feeds. and will watch them.

i apologize if i offended anyone.

having to wait until sunday would be so hard. they would have to cut out the feeds for thursday, friday, saturday, sunday before the show.

i don't know if i could handle that.

That is Ok BB9addict it is more that Big Brother producers have offended many.

I just hope they are listening to us.........

If the producers find that they don't need the original Big Brother fans and have a whole new audience that likes the sex and porn theme then so be it.

I believe last season was the INSULT to the original BB fans. from the "america's Player" twist to the obvious string pulling by Grodner and crew. After an entire season of BS, this season is more my liking.

Although I'm not a huge fan of the couples, i think given the time frame it could have been better (ie assign couples but have each player play as an individual, if you & your partner make it through each week, you get extra $$). This season was the result of the strike, so good "scripts" were impossible to get. For what it's worth, it's a good season. I like it. Am I as rabid of a viewer as I was before? No, but that may be because the last four seasons have been exhausting.

I said the REST of the world ... us here at Morty's (and anyone with the live feeds) will know as soon as the comp's over! ;)

Funny thing is people just watching the show have no idea just what scum these people are. It seems CBS is having to do a lot of creative editing in order to make it all work.

As far as the twist goes, I can only get so worked up. They always promise something big, but it ALWAYS sucks!! Even Kayser going back in sucked because he got voted right back out. As much as I'd love to see them really shake things up tonight, I'm sure it will end up very ho hum as always.

i think I can go back through transcripts of every season and see someone post this^^ If you had a camera on you 24 hours a day, I'm sure most people would appear vile, stupid, racist, homophobic, bi-curious, etc.

But I'm with you on the twist. If it was really going to shake things up, it would be all over the spoiler threads.
