The official website is continuing to have problems. According to BBBA, serious security problems have arrisen with the log on and registration process. It is recommended that you not attempt to register for the premium service with your credit card until these problems are cleared up.

One report from a user said that her was able to see the perfomal information for another user with little problem.

It's ridiculous.

Firstly, it's not as if they haven't handled it before (though IIRC, it might be a new web team responsible).

Secondly, issues about the security of the site were raised as soon as Premium Sign ups started, both on site such as BBBA and directly from subscribers. Rather than sorting it out, they just passed if off with an "of course it's safe" comment.

The site now tells you that the sign-in process is unavailable and to try again later.

Earlier my login id was not in the site log, but I could go to ten.com.au and log right in.

Both sites are supposed to use the same authenication server according to TEN.

The home page now says:

TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES - UPDATE AND IMPROVEMENTS

Premium is now available. Members who have already subscribed to Premium can now sign in to access Premium content. New users can also subscribe to Premium.

Ummm... Does anyone see a place to sign up for Premium -

And the registration page is STILL not secure!:lol:

And registered members still cannot upgrade to Premium...

Offers of extra days, discounts, refunds...:lol::lol:

The registration page IS secure. The reason you can't see the padlock is because it's in a frame. Right click on the sign up page (right beside the submit button) and click properties, You'll see an address that is https://, copy it and past it into the address bar... VIOLA!! padlock and https:// address. That's how I signed up.

Interesting and a bit confusing... So if you sign up without the copy and paste method, is that page still secure? Just because we see http does not mean that there is not a https there, you just have to take the extra step?
