Katydidit Posted July 14, 2006 Share Posted July 14, 2006 Maybe it's me, but I don't think so. My profile is set correctly, and shows the right time over here on the East Coast. But the latest thread in updates reads something like 8:30 pm (for me). And I swear they change -- jump even. Does anybody else have this problem? Is there a fix I don't know about? It gets downright confusing in the early morning hours at this end. ETA: Right now this post shows the exact time (for me) -- 5:58 pm. Do these threads post differently than the live feed updates? Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) is mean solar time at the Royal Greenwich Observatory in Greenwich, London, England, the United Kingdom, which by convention is at 0 degrees geographic longitude. But I will be back to post the first time I see them out of whack again, cuz I know I'm not THAt crazy <grin> p.s. I did adjust my settings -- last year. Re-checked them and they're fine. AND it's not even agreeing in hours -- it's ten minutes out of whack. I feel so much better now. And I repeat: Does anyone know why this happens?
