GingerSnaps
Well, since the show is called Big Brother and someone is suppose to be watching the HG's every move, then I say how about no partnerships at all. Any time the HG's are caught trying to make an alliance; they get penalized in some way (bread and water for sure ---I won't be happy until BB producers show me they have the balls to actually put the concept of BB back in their show) if they rack up enough penalties they get put out of the house (meaning they sleep in a dog house that is built in the yard - no pillow, no blankie, just the leftover astroturf that Evilette peed on) Now that is great reality tv show watching. Brekkie Boy
One thing they have to do is sort out the "penalty nominations" - they are always threatened but never happen. The obvious example is with Eric and Michael last year - no real punishment was handed out. I'm sure if Eric hadn't been HoH at the time, he would have been thrown out. They also had a problem with Michael being a nominee. Most versions around the world have adopted a "three strikes" policy on rule breaking. I think in the case of BBUSA it should be as follows: Strike 1: Get official warning Strike 2: Banned from voting in the next eviction round and competing in the next HoH challenge. Strike 3: Upon receiving their third strike a houseguest could be evicted. They would have to face a jury of their fellow houseguests who would then decide whether or not that person should be evicted. The HoH would have the casting vote in the event of a tie. GingerSnaps
I likie, I likie! I knew you would! is there a rolled up newspaper involved in this punishment???? Of course there is Fizzle...did you really need to ask me that? The rolled up newspaper is for starters then we could just stick their faces into the evilette soiled astroturf when they misbehave...they'll eventually get the message. P.S. Come on now...I know there are many here that would have liked to see Maggie's face kissing the astroturf!
Brekkie Boy
OK - we've read about the small things you'd change to improve the show - but I'd like to read about some of your big ideas which would have a major affect on the game. Let's get thinking outside the box - we don't just want twists, we want twisted which are so twisted the evicted houseguests will be in therapy for years! Well, maybe not that twisted - but quite twisted! Let's begin with the big premiere twist. How about after the first HoH is declared, they are called to the diary room and given some secret information. The first two nominees will be chosen not by the HoH, but instead in a viewer's vote by America's Choice. However, the other houseguests can't find out about this and the HoH must pass off America's nominations as his own. If successful, he'll get too choose which nominee is evicted. If not though, and the other HGs discover the twist, the HoH will get evicted!

PhatDaddyG
As far as the Veto Comp is concerned, I stated before and I'll state again, make it so that EVERYBODY plays for it. No more picking only 6 people to play for the veto. That way you don't know if the person you plan on back-dooring actually wins it and you can't. Food comps every week, only you don't play for partial food, it's all or nothing. Whomever gets voted back into the house has a free week immunity, that way they aren't put in the house and evicted 3 days later. No exes, twins, friends, lovers, or family twists. BLEH! Actually have luxury competitions. Make them compete to be able to unlock the grill, hot tub, pool, weight room, etc. If they don't win, they don't get any of the items they were competing for, EVER. Brekkie Boy
It be very good actually to do the luxury competitions kind of in reverse. At the beginning of the series the house would be full of various luxuries - but each week they risk losing one - for good - if they fail the luxury challenge. Brekkie Boy
Come on guys - lets have some more ideas or MAJOR twists they could do! Maybe let's get a bit outrageous here and see how far we can push it: So here we have - "Big(amy) Brother" This year one couple has a secret - they are married. However, in a further twist it's revealed to viewers that in fact all the female housemates are married - to the same bloke!
April
unfortunately, I don't have time to read this entire thread. However: I wish they'd let the veto winner choose the replacement nomiee! That would shake things up for sure

Cathy
After all the slumber parties on BB6 , nerdherd and the freaky tickle sessions, one of the changes I'd like to see is for the person that wins HOH not be allowed to have an entire group with them during that week. Only one person can be selected by the hoh without the ability to rotate roomates. I can only imagine the drama it could create considering how crazy they all can get. Just my two cents. Also, the group that loses the luxury comp has to not only eat pb&j, but has to do all the cooking and other household chores for the winning team that week. BBDADDY7
As a huge fan of Big Brother & as an applicant of every season, I would like to see a more diverse age group regarding the house-guests. It's always nice to see the "hard-bodies" in the back yard but we already have shows to high-lite this! I'd like to see the drama, strategizing, & competitions kicked up to an even more mature level that can't always be done by just 20 year olds! Thanks! uvp
i almost forgot this one eliminate americans choice to bring back a loser who gets voted off. because honestly they get voted right back off the next week. why punish those who are playing a good game whether it be cheating or backstabbing. quite frankly american doesnt deserve to be in the game, let the players decide the game. Wasn't Amy brought back in by America's Choice, and didn;t she last more than a week? Kaysar went imeadiately because he had a moment of weakness (or was stupid enough) to believe Jennifer - the BJ Queen. but the fact is she still left. didnt make far three weeks at best. american choice doesnt help them it may buy them an extra week or two but instead it put a bigger target on their back. its a reason they got eliminated and that reason is they were bad players . american choice is just giving bad players a second chance and i think thats unfair to the good players. Ivy
I don't like bringing back anyone who has been voted out. Not even when it was Kaysar! To me, that's kind of an unimaginative twist. Changes I would like to see: 1). No more twists. More often that not, these are huge disappointments. 2) More stuff for the houseguests to do. I don't care if it has to do with a reward, or a losing a reward, but there's too much sitting around. 3) absolutley NO MORE Q & A challenges! This ticks me off. They have a whole year to plan this show, and how many of the challenges last year were this type? Pathetic. 4) Somehow, some way, have at least one elimination be America's choice. No more lame rewards-- let us really have a say in something. I don't think this should be a twist -- I think they should know. I think it will change the way many play the game, if they know at some point, we , who see all, will have the opportunity to vote them off 5) No one with an agent. This show is not a stepping stone to bigger and better things. And stop with all the single 20 somethings. Variety is the spice of life. Mix it up! 6) Anyone who whines and says they want off, should immediately be escorted out. This should be the case with any reality show. Too many people want to be on them, so none of us should have to listen to that crap. Oh, there's probably more that I'd like to see changed. If any one of these things happened, I would be happier. I've liked a lot of the other suggestions I've read too. I hope someone frome CBS reads them! Or hires someone from here to be a producer!!! Camper
I would like to see more luxury challenges that do not have a time limit on them. Give them something they need to figure out, work on, practice with or work on day and night until they win. hidden secret messages or trying to figure out the combo to the safe is just lame.
