Dancing With The Stars ~ U.S. Season 22 Episode 4

We open the show tonight with a Disney Night animated logo on the screen. Mickey & Minnie are on stage in the ballroom. Professional dancers are dancing on a stage that is shaped like a Mickey Mouse face & ears.

 

 

Tom & Erin introduce all the couples, as they come into the ballroom, & the themes that they will be representing tonight. The audience is loving every minute of it. Tom says, it's Disney Night on Dancing With The Stars. He welcomes the Judges, & the guest judge tonight, Zendaya. Tom welcomes us to their biggest Disney Night ever.

 

 

We see highlights & practice sessions for Antonio & Sharna. They are representing Disney's Aladdin tonight. They are dancing the Jazz to Friend Like Me by Robin Williams. The audience is clapping & cheering along as they dance, & they erupt for them when they are finished.

 

 

Tom says, "Wow, Boomin'! That was great!" Len is smiling, & he says, the dancer came out & it was his best dance so far. Zendaya says, it was great, clean, on point, & amazing. Bruno says, he's been pimped for the top, & he could be a Rockette. Carrie Ann says, he was on point, & a smooth operator. She says, there's really nothing she can say bad about what he did. Tom says, they will get their scores after the break, live.

 

 

Erin welcomes us back to Dancing With The Stars in the Sky Box with Antonio & Sharna. Judges scores: Carrie Ann - 9, Len - 8, Zendaya - 9, Bruno - 9, for a total of 35. Erin tells everyone to get their votes in. They get 10 votes with each method used.

 

 

We see highlights & practice sessions for this week for Marla & Tony. They are representing Disney's Little Mermaid. They are dancing the Waltz to Part of Your Word by Jessie J. The audience & clapping & cheering along as they dance, & they erupt for them when they are finished.

 

 

Tom says, "That was sweet." Zendaya says, it was beautiful, soft & sweet. She tells them to enjoy the show, because she didn't enjoy it enough when she was on. Bruno says, there is nothing fishy about that. He says, it was beautiful & very fragrant. He says, it can get a little slippery when wet, & reminds her to keep her body posture. He tells her to maintain. Tom tells Bruno it's Disney Night, & he needs to remember that with his phrases. Carrie Ann says, it was beautiful. She tells her to just watch her hands, & not to look so scared. Len says, it had charm, elegance & romance. He says, as always, another solid performance, well done. They go to the Sky Box for their scores.

 

 

Tom says, Max will be a guest judge next week for the Switch Up. Erin asks Marla how she likes being Ariel? Marla says she loved it. They show a photo of Marla & her daughter how they dressed up as Ariel together on Halloween when her daughter was bout 10 years old. Judges scores: Carrie Ann - 7, Len - 7, Len - 7, Zendaya - 7, Bruno - 7, for a total 28. Tony says, Marla is giving everything he has & he loves it. He tells everyone to keep voting. Tom says, there's more to come on Disney Night, live.

 

 

Tom welcomes back to the ballroom tonight. We see highlights & practice sessions from this week for Nyle & Peta. They are representing Disney's Tarzan. They are dancing the Samba to Trashin' The Camp by Phil Collins. The audience cheers & claps along as they dance, & they really erupt for them when they are finished.

 

 

Bruno says, the mark of the jungle is now the mark of the dance. He says, he is perfectly undressed for this dance. He tells Nyle he did great work. Carrie Ann asks what he can't do? She tells him he did a great job. Len says, he looks at his body, & they are so much alike. He says, there was great energy, & it was a great dance. He says, there may be too much bongo's. The audience boos. He says, the Samba he did was great. Zendaya says, he stayed in character & she loved it. She says she really like the bongos the most. Tom says, the bongos were impressive. He says, they will get their scores after the break, live.

 

 

Erin welcomes us back to Disney Night on Dancing With The Stars. She says, she must have missed the note about only wearing loin clothes tonight. They show a video of how Nyle is hitting the beats with Peta. Erin asks how he does that? Nyle says, being born deaf, sound has never been there for him, so watching Peta helps him a lot. Erin tells them they are making it look so easy, & she knows it's not. Judges scores: Carrie Ann - 8, Len - 8, Zendaya - 9, Bruno - 9, for a total of 34. Erin tells the viewers to get their votes in for their favorite couples.

 

 

We see highlights & practice sessions for this week for Doug & Karina. They are representing Disney's Mary Poppins. They are dancing the Jazz to A Spoonful Of Sugar by Julie Andrews. The audience claps & cheers for them while they are dancing, & they erupt for them when they are finished.

 

 

Tom welcomes Richard Sherman to the audience. He's a two time composer for Mary Poppins. Carrie Ann says, she saw the makings of a good routine, but they didn't actually deliver on it. She tells him that his hat got in the way in the beginning, & they were out of sync for the most part. The audience boos. Len says, he got into the character of the dance, but they got out of sync a couple of times during the routine. He says, he digs it. Zendaya says there were mistakes, but you move on from it. She says, it's Disney magic, but they move on from it & channel it into Disney Magic. Bruno says, he knows what happened, the medicine kicked in half way through, jokingly. He says, once he got into it, he embraced it. He tells him to do that from the beginning next time.

 

 

Judges scores: Carrie Ann - 6, Len - 6, Zendaya - 6, Bruno - 6, for a total of 24. Tom tells everyone to use up all their votes they have this week. He tells them that they are safe this week. He says, one of last weeks lowest scoring couples is safe, so who's going home this week? He says, we will find out in a little while, live. Karina is screaming because she is soo excited they are safe this week.

 

 

We come back to the ballroom with the judges dancing in their seats to the music. Tom welcomes us back to tonight's Dancing With The Stars. We see highlights & practice sessions from this week for Kim & Sasha. They are representing Disney's Jungle Book. They are dancing the Quickstep to I Wan'na Be Like You (The Monkey Song) by Louis Prima & Phil Harris & Bruce Reitherman. The audience cheers & claps for them while they dance, & they really erupt when they are finished.

 

 

Len says, that was Zippadeedoodah. He says, it was their best so far. Zendaya says, it was a joy to watch them. She says, they steps look clean to her. Bruno says, she is the fastest girl in the jungle. He says, the energy level was excellent. He says, they have been telling her for weeks about her shoulders, & tonight she did much much better. Kim went to Bruno, jumped on the judges table & hugged Bruno. Carrie Ann says, the chemistry was great & they make it look so easy, & she really liked it. They go to the Sky Box for their scores.

 

 

Erin says, Sasha's facial expressions are everything. They replay Kim's dolphin dive on the judges table to hug Bruno. She says, she's feeling great & feels nothing but joy. Judges scores: Carrie Ann - 8, Len - 8, Zendaya - 8, Bruno - 8, for a total of 32. Sasha says, it was amazing & she had fun, that's all that matters. Erin says, it makes her want to walk in the jungle with them. Tom tells Bruno he's been marked, he's now Kim'd referring to the lipstick that Kim left on his white suit he's wearing when she hugged him. Tom says there's more to come after the break, live.

 

 

We see behind the scenes with Donald & Goofy during the break. When we come back to the ballroom with Mickey & Minnie dancing with the professional dancers in the ballroom.

 

 

We see highlights & practice sessions from this week for Jodie & Keo. They are representing Disney's Zootopia. They are dancing the Cha Cha to Try Everything by Shakira. The audience cheers & claps for them while they are dancing, & they really erupt for them when they are finished.

 

 

Tom says, it was fun to watch, it really was. Zendaya says, there were a few mistakes, but she kept going with pushing through. Bruno says, even the most beautiful gazelle can stumble in the jungle. He says, he's not holding it against her. He tells her to get the self-confidence in herself, because she will be back. Carrie Ann says, it was an underwhelming performance, & she asks what happened? Jodie says, she couldn't hear the music, because of the amazing fans. Carrie Ann says, when she got lost, she pushed through it. Tom pulls one of Jodie's long hairs off of Keo. Len says, it wasn't underwhelming at all. He says, they messed up & they hoped no one would notice, but they always do, well done. Tom says, he thinks Len likes it. They go to the Sky Box for their scores.

 

 

Erin tells Jodie she's tearing up a little bit. Jodie says, she just gets upset because they really worked so hard, but they kept going. Judges scores: Carrie Ann - 7, Len - 6, Zendaya - 7, Bruno - 7, for a total of 27. Tom tells Len he thought he really liked it. Len says, he was positive, because everyone else was so negative, but there were just to many mistakes. Tom says, alright. Tom says, there is more to come, live.

 

 

We come back to tonight's Dancing With The Stars with Tom & Erin both upstairs by the balcony. We see highlights & practice sessions from this week for Von & Witney. They are representing Disney's Cinderella. They are dancing The Viennese Waltz to A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Mistakes by Ilene Woods. The audience cheers & claps for them while they are dancing, & they really erupt for them when they are finished dancing.

 

 

Tom says, the was charming. Bruno says, he's totally enchanted. He tells him he did so much better on his posture & lines. He says, he's kingly & royal. Carrie Ann tells Witney she is stunning tonight. She tells Von that is the champion she has been looking for. She tells him he was adorable, & he made it charming & wonderful. Len says, he has not been grumpy tonight, & someone's got to get it, but it's not Von. He says, last week was drab & this week was fab, great stuff. Zendaya says, for being this big strong guy, everything was graceful & beautiful. They go to the Sky Box for their scores.

 

 

Erin says, Witney made every girl jealous tonight, & the wardrobe department did well. Erin says, the Carriage that was in the ballroom is the real Cinderella carriage from the movie. Von says, Witney has great coaching. Judges scores: Carrie Ann - 8, Len - 8, Zendaya - 8, Bruno - 8, for a total of 32. Von says, they have to keep working. Tom says, there is more to come after the break, live.

 

 

Tom welcomes us back to the ballroom with Grumpy Dwarf next to Len. We see highlights & practice sessions from this week for Ginger & Val. They are representing Disney's Beauty & The Beast. They are dancing the Foxtrot to Belle by Chorus & Beauty And The Beast & Paige O'Hara & Richard White. The audience cheers & claps for them while they dance, & they erupt for them when they are finished dancing.

 

 

Tom says, it was beautiful & she was made for that one. Carrie Ann says, that was ridiculously good, & the hold was the best she's seen all season from anyone. She says, it was wonderful. Len says, what a tasty dish. He says it's been the best dance of the season for him. Zendaya says, it was like watching a Broadway Musical. She says, it was beautiful to watch. Bruno says, this was a real visual treat. He says, they were acting the part to perfection. He says, he loved it. They go to the Red Room for their scores.

 

 

Mickey, Minnie & Goofy are all in the Red Room with Erin. She asks Ginger how she felt? Ginger says, she feels great. She says, they are clicking & working in their partnership. Judges scores: Carrie Ann - 9, Len - 9, Zendaya - 9, Bruno - 9, for a total of 36. Val says, they wanted this week to be about content, & that she's a contender in this competition. He says, he's proud of her. Ginger says, Val's rat tail is everything. Val apologizes to his mom, & says, it's not real. Tom says, there is more to come, & another couple will be eliminated, live.

 

 

We come back to the ballroom with professional dancers dancing the Waltz. Tom says, it was Edyta & Artem dancing. We see highlights & practice sessions from this week for Wanya & Lindsay. They are representing Disney's The Lion King. They are dancing the Samba to Circle Of Life by Carmen Twillie & Lebo M. The audience cheers & claps for them while they dance, & they really erupt for them when they are finished.

 

 

Tom says, Len is still clapping. Len says, tickle my bum & call me Donald. He says, this competition is really now heating up. Len says, it was fantastic. Tom says, thank you Donald. Zendaya says, she loves The Lion King, & he did it justice. She says, it was an amazing job. Bruno says, he is a magnificent beast of power. He says, he gave it everything & he killed it. Carrie Ann says, she loves seeing this side of him, but he overdid it at the beginning. The audience boos. He agrees with her. They go to the Sky Box for their scores.

 

 

Erin says, everything has been awesome tonight, & everything seems like watching a Broadway routine. Wanya says, he wants to compete with himself, & if he does better that's better. Judges scores: Carrie Ann - 8, Len - 9, Zendaya - 9, Bruno - 9, for a total of 35. Erin says, one couple will be going home tonight, so it's important you vote. Tom says, such great energy tonight, it's going to be hard to say goodbye to someone, but they will be soon. The last dance will be coming up after the break, live.

 

 

We see highlights & practice sessions from this week for Paige & Mark. They are representing Toy Story. Tom says, they will dance their Quickstep when we come back, live.

 

 

We come back to the ballroom with Mr. Potato Head on the screen, watching a T.V. with the judges wearing Micky & Minnie ears on their heads. Paige & Mark are dancing the Quickstep to You've Got A Friend In Me by Randy Newman. The audience cheers & claps for them while they are dancing, & they really erupt for them when they are finished dancing.

 

 

Tom says, what a great way to end a great night. Zendaya says, they brought it to life, & they did a great job. She says, it was very clean. She thanks everyone for having her on the show tonight. Bruno says, to infinity & beyond. He tells them they hit all the spots. He says, it was so refreshingly wonderful. He says, everyone reached a peak of creativity that even Mr. Walt Disney would love. Carrie Ann says, that was the most difficult dance performed tonight, & she loves Disney Night. Len says, tonight has been a fantastic night, & all Disney movies end with a happy note, & they did that. He says, he's soo looking forward to next week's Switch Up. Tom tells them they had to know it was good in the middle of it. Judges scores: Carrie Ann - 9, Len - 9, Zendaya - 9, Bruno - 9, for a total of 36. Tom says, that's a tie for first place. Mark thanks the props people & his partner.

 

 

Tom says, the first couple who is in jeopardy is Marla & Tony. Erin says, and joining them are Jodie & Keo. The audience boos. Tom says, the remaining couple are safe. Tom says, Marla & Tony and Jodie & Keo, the lowest scoring couple from last week & is now leaving us tonight is Marla & Tony. Erin has them go by her. She tells her she has been so lovely. Marla says, it's been the most incredible experience, & it's been so much fun. She says, she loved working with Tony. Tony says, Marla has been such an incredible partner. He says, after 21 seasons he still loves their show. Tom says, they will be on GMA & Kelly & Michael tomorrow. Tom has the phone numbers posted on the screen. Erin says, topping the leaderboard tonight are Ginger & Val and Paige & Mark. She thanks all of their Disney friends. Tom says, next week is the Switch Up with Max as a guest judge, & Jimmy Kimmel Live will be on later tonight. Erin says, good night.
