After being exposed on TV and Internet 24/7, the pretty mommy has become an instant celebrity. Jenny, the housemate who chose to voluntarily exit the Pinoy Big Brother house due to her father’s health condition, is enjoying the fame that she got from her short stint in the show.
In a press conference held last Thursday, Jenny recounted how she got overwhelmed with the warm welcome that the people in Olongapo gave her when she went back to her father’s hometown last Monday. “Yung mga kapitbahay namin pumupunta pa ng bahay para lang magpapicture. Kakaiba talaga,” Jenny said.
Jenny also disclosed her plans to enter showbizness to help support her son’s education. ABS-CBN gave Jenny a one year contract after her stint in Pinoy Big Brother. She’s also lined up to guest in several ABS-CBN shows. Together with Rico, Jenny will continue to appear in Pinoy Big Brother as an ambassador of the housemates. During the presscon, she also showed the power of her voice by singing some lines of Whitney Houston’s hit song “I Have Nothing” for the press people.
Of course, the press did not let go of Jenny without asking the real score between her and housemate, Jason. Jenny explained that she’s very close to Jason but she denied having a relationship with him. Jenny also said that she’s not attracted to the Batangueño. Moreover, she has settled this issue with her longtime live-in partner, Ferdinand Mombrado.
In an interview with Mombrado, he admitted that he got jealous of the closeness between Jenny and Jason but he stressed that this is no longer an issue for him and Jenny since the latter already explained that matter to him. “Aminado ako na nagselos ako pero ayos na yung issue kasi ipinaliwanag niya sa akin na close siya sa lahat ng housemate, kaya lang sa TV ang binigyan ng focus silang dalawa. Pagnakikita ko silang sweet sila yung close sila, aminado ako nagseselos ako.”
Mombrado made fun of the intrigue and gave Jason a piece of advice. “Magpaliwanag ka mabuting sa asawa mo, ako napaliwanagan na ako. Balita ko yung naramdaman (pagseselos) ko, nararamdaman ng asawa mo.”
He also said that he has no qualms about Jenny’s decision to leave the house. Mombrano said that he supported her all the way when Jenny made this very hard decision.
Jenny’s presscon was held last Thursday afternoon. That night her father passed away due to liver cancer and health complications. She was able to see her father before he died. She recounted to the press that her father smiled when he saw her for the first time since she joined Pinoy Big Brother.
