I agree. I didn't so much find Derrick himself boring, though the way the large alliance was able to steamroll through made for no suspense. I think Derrick would have done well if it were otherwise, too.

I agree that he'd prefer America's Favourite Player. At my school district, he would NOT get his job back if he wasn't able to qualify for a leave of absence, no matter how well liked he is. It's a union job that would already be posted and filled. Hope it's different in his case.

I've never seen Cody flinch or roll his eyes, or in any other way betray distaste. I think I would instinctively pull away on occasion if someone I found unattractive was pulling me in. He seems to at least genuinely like her as a friend. Nonetheless, since I don't like Christine, I would kind of enjoy seeing it be Cody who nominates her and sends her packing.

Jocasta said that she tried to talk Donny into starting an alliance together but he refused to talk game with her. No interest in an outsiders' alliance. I assume he hopes that being the last outsider standing, someone will want to grab him into their break-off group.
