  1. I'm sad Brett is gone. I thought he was on the cusp of shaking things up...
  2. In the end, I think Brett assumed that Tyler and Angela thought they were sitting pretty and assumed that they wouldn't think he would actually be scheming against them. Dumb on his part. As much as I hate to say it, that was some nice game play on Tyler and Angela's part last night. She won the veto like clockwork, and they were very precise and deliberate about everything, down to the words to tell Brett why he was going home. This has been one of the smartest showmances (in terms of game play) in several seasons. Because they really didn't get together until most of their rival alliance was gone - and they had the numbers, there was nothing anyone could really do about it. And unlike Fess and Heigh they are backing up everything with competition wins when it counts. Well played.
  3. Even though most of the jury likes Sam, I would hope that they would reward the best player of the game with the 500K. With the exception of her HOH win early on, Sam really hasn't won competitions and she seems to have no strategy whatsoever. She certainly hasn't tried to understand the game. I've always liked Sam and thought she was a genuine person. I posted early on that I thought Kaycee was holding back and waiting for some obvious targets to weed themselves out before really playing hard and going after challenge wins. Thankfully, that's exactly what she's done and she's my personal preference to win the whole thing. However, I was hoping that Sam would do the same thing. That Sam would step up and really start playing "her" game after some of the obvious targets were knocked out. But, I don't think that's going to happen. It's just not in her.
  4. I agree. Entitled and kind of a spoiled brat. She has a superior attitude that most of the jury, (especially the women) can't stand. Since Foute will be the majority of the jury, there's no way she's winning.
  5. I agree. In the end, JC wants the 500K. Period. Solidarity within the LBGTQ community is not his mission. I honestly think Rockstar would have had a tougher time nominating and voting out Kaycee than JC would.
  6. If they were smart, JC , Brett and Sam would start working together and get out the L6 members. If they formed an alliance it would be three against three. Brett has to know he is at the bottom of the L6 alliance. And technically neither JC or Sam is a part of it, (even though JC always votes for L6). The only way Tyler, Angela or Kaycee would take Brett, JC or Sam to the end is because they know they can beat them. If Brett or JC wins HOH this week, now would be one of the last opportunities they have to make a move.
  7. I just read that Les Moonves, (Julie Chen’s husband), is scheduled to step down tomorrow as CEO of CBS, due continued sexual misconduct allegations from additional women. I wonder what this will mean for the future of Big Brother?
  8. They should all rally and get rid of Angela. Even if they have to blindside Tyler. Upsetting the pecking order is the only way to go. i didn’t realize Tyler and Angela were together. Have they been making out and stuff? Work has been crazy for me in the last couple of weeks, so I’m behind in watching episodes. Just been getting my updates from here....
  9. I think it's also key to remember that when Big Brother started as a show, technology wasn't as advanced as it is now. At the beginning, I certainly wasn't watching anything on my phone and texting blog responses. Also, there were fewer "reality" shows on television and fewer cable outlets and programming in general. I think that over the years the BB producers have started coming up with whatever gimmicks they can to keep the viewers watching. I also think they probably make every houseguest feel completely comfortable in the diary room and like they are special and that secretly they are rooting for them, (when in the meantime they are treating every houseguest like that). I wouldn't go as far as to say the game is rigged, but i do think production goes in to the beginning of the season with their favorites and then make adjustments along the way. The producers may think someone is going to do really well at the beginning, but when they don't, probably cut them loose (as far as a lot of help in the game). I think production makes alliances, just like the rest of the house. Only they dump them once they realize it's not going anywhere.
  10. In my opinion if the producers don’t try to come up with some kind of fix or remedy for this, whoever wins this season isn’t going to be seen as really winning and it will always be seen as a fake win by true B.B. fans. As hard as he’s been playing, I doubt that Tyler would want to win like this either. I’m not as big a fan as some are of Tyler, but I do think he didn’t realize his error in the HOH competition. Everyday that goes by though, makes it more unlikely that the producers will do anything.
  11. If BB chooses to do nothing about this blatant rule violation, then it’s safe to assume that production has a preferred winner, who is Tyler. Also while it’s true that houseguests break small “rules” frequently, like over sleeping, eating forbidden food while a HN, singing etc., none of those behaviors really effect the long term play of the game. Tyler’s violation though is the difference between Hayleigh being HOH and now potentially going home. That’s a big deal and for the sanctity of the game and the trust of the viewers, I hope B.B. corrects it. I doubt they will though. I’m sure they are hoping this just blows over. Lame...
  12. My order for coming back into the house from the battle back would be: Scottie Rockstar Fessy (assuming and hoping he gets voted out tonight Bay I really hope its Scottie or RS!
  13. As long as it isn't Bayleigh, I'm good.
  14. I don't think that Bayleigh was all that pretty, (and I say that as a black woman living in Los Angeles). So yes, she was an angry black woman, ( I can say that), with a horrible entitled attitude. BB likes to put these kind in the house as fodder. And I say that with no malice as I obviously keep wathcing. The point of my earlier post, is that BB puts in a garden variety of stereotypes each season. Something for everyone and also a few people that they think will keep fights going and keep the house interesting. For example, JC is def a person that they new would bring the entertainment value up, he's extremely short, latin and gay. It's just what BB does. Bayleigh reminds me of that woman (also black and angry) that threw her mic in the pool several seasons ago and i think might have gotten expelled from the house for it? She was equally as horrid as Bayleigh. An example of a black woman in the house who wasn't angry and played a good game was Danielle Reyes. But I'm having to go back to almost the beginning of big brother for that one.
  15. Brett is another one, like JC who has been great at playing an undercover game. He made a great decision/move after he realized he was such a big target with Winston to play a more subtle game. I will say though, that he also has been provided great cover by being a part of L6. He has been able to basically lay low and do maneuvering behind the scenes. I thought he was an arrogant "bro" ass in the beginning of the game, but now he's growing on me...
  16. If JC wants to go beyond just making it to the end, (meaning someone decides to take him, because they think they can win against him), he has to start winning some things to have a provable resume in the game. Otherwise he will just be fodder. I do think he has the goods though. He is def smart enough and has just been hanging back. And even though it hasn't gotten in the way of his game, i think he's had a crush on Fessy this whole time. I think he will play more clearly with him gone. He needs to start playing more focused.
  17. I doesn’t seem like it would benefit her to change the nominations, since L6 has the voting power and they can basically take out whichever one they want. Also, it seems like L6 would probably want to make both Hayleigh and Fess both sweat all week about which one is going. The only way she might take Fessy down is to ensure Hayleigh goes home and JC doesn’t try to save Fessy. But I think JC will probably do whatever L6 wants as he sees his own days as being numbered.
  18. I was just wondering that. I don’t have the feeds, but when I checked back to Mortys to see who had won the veto I was surprised to see that there must still be fish. There could also be some kind of production issue or problem in the house...
  19. I’m cool with Scottie or Rockstar coming back. Whoever comes back though, will go right out the door again, (including Hayleigh or Fess), unless lame Foute wins HOH and veto next time around. While I can’t stand Angela’s arrogant attitude it is equally matched by the stupidity of Fessy. Really dude? How can you not see what’s happening right in front of your face? And when Hayleigh points out that you both are going to get nominated you get annoyed? He’s unreal.
  20. Ugh. So Angela wins HOH, bummer. I guess she has played a decent game, but I just don't like her attitude. Would have loved to have seen someone else win HOH, like Brett, Kaycee or JC, just to see what they would do with it and how they would handle the spotlight and decision making. My only conciliation with Angela winning this week is the "buy back" or whatever it's called. So, Angela could end up having whoever she gets out coming right back - which would be awesome. Ironically, even though she was annoying with the constant crying and lamenting her position, I wouldn't mind seeing Rockstar come back. If she has a better attitude and starts winning some stuff i would enjoy seeing her have another chance. I wouldn't mind Scottie either. Just please - ANYONE but Bayleigh!
  21. I'm kind of meh about this season. I keep watching, but barely. Half of the house is a complete disappointment. Maybe now that the numbers are dwindling, some of the players that have been on the down low, will start engaging more and go all out to win competitions like, Kaycee and JC. I actually would't mind Hayleigh going far in the game, which she could do if she stays close to Angela. It seems like Angela wants Sam out before Hayleigh and Tyler would probably go along with that, even though he's been tight with Sam in the past. Hayleigh needs to get away from Fess though, and start playing her own game. I'm not sure if she has the strength to do that though...
  22. If you are responding to me CrazyBBFan, you will see that I never said he was a "great player." I simply was pointing out that he can go deep in the game if he keeps playing the way he has. Even though he is not technically part of L6, he has the potential to make it further in the game of some of the actual alliance, because he hasn't proven to be a physical or mental threat. Tyler for example may want someone next to him in the end that he can beat in challenges and also doesn't have a record of making any big moves. Just sayin'
  23. Now that Fess put up Kaycee as a replacement nominee, Scottie is done. Even if he came up with some super promises and flipped, there is no way L6 would keep him over Kaycee.
  24. The couple of things that are interesting about JC: He's not really on anyone's shit list He has alliances and side deals with almost everyone in the house He has people willing to fight to keep him safe (like Fessy) He's a hidden number (not technically part of L6, but usually votes with them) He entertains everyone and keeps things fun - from working out with Brett, to his funny stories, to being quasi dramatic JC can go deep into the game if he keeps playing like he is. For the moment, everyone needs him. And that's valuable.
  25. She's becoming the Rockstar of L6, in the nominating sense. It would be great if she started to see that she is at the bottom of that alliance and team up with Fess and Hayleigh. She is expendable to T and A when things get down to low numbers. Actually I think Tyler would rather take Sam or JC further in the game than Kaycee. It benefits him more.
