Johan Riley Fyodor Taiwo Samuel was born Wednesday, November 22 at 5:01 p.m. in Los Angeles. "He is healthy, beautiful and looks just like his mother," according to the post signed by Seal. Seal posted the following message on Klum's official website: To our children, a brother To our parents, a grandson To my wife and I, a son To our family, a blessing. The 8 lb. 11 oz. arrival is the third child for the supermodel and her second with the British singer, who is also father to the couple's 14-month-old son, Henry Guenther Ademola Dashtu Samuel. Klum's 2-1/2-year-old daughter, Leni, is from a previous relationship with Formula One manager Flavio Briatore. Seal and Heidi Klum Klum and Seal confirmed that they were expecting another child in June. The couple began dating in February 2004, while Klum was pregnant with Leni and married in May 2005 on a beach near the singer's home on Mexico's luxurious Costa Careyes. From the start, Seal, whose real name is Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel, was like a father to Leni. "The arrival of any child brings you a lot of happiness," he said last year prior to the birth of Henry. "If we're lucky enough, we'll have more." Klum, the German-born star of Bravo's "Project Runway" wholeheartedly concurs. In August, she told Life magazine, "We want to have a lot of children. (Seal) always says that he finds me the most beautiful when I'm pregnant." Last November, just two months after Henry was born, the proud papa said that he and Klum "try to spend as much time as possible together. There are days we never get out of our pajamas. We play with the kids in bed, watch TV, cook, hang out." Klum added, "Our kids are a constant source of amusement." Heidi Klum and Seal Thanks to the Web site, RTL, the meanings of Johan's names. Johan is a Nordic and German version of the name Johannes, a Hebrew name that means, "The Lord is gracious." Riley is traditionally Irish in background and means "small stream or creek." Fyodor is Russian and means "God's gift" and Taiwo means "to smell/taste the world" in Yoruba. In twin births in Africa (Seal is English with a Nigerian/Brazilian background) the first twin in a set is often called or nicknamed Taiwo. RTL also confirms that Leni's name is simply 'Leni Klum' -- she has no middle name, unlike her brothers' multiple ones! Also, RTL reports that Johan's birth was Heidi's first Cesarean section. No reason was given, but we assume it was not elective due to Heidi's quote from a year ago after Henry's birth: "Henry's birth was easier than Leni's, because I knew what to expect. I would never consider an elective c-section for a few reasons - because I like the experience of a vaginal birth, and also I am scared to have my abdomen cut open!" Leni and Heidi Klum with Seal and Henry Samuel Seal has also posted a new blog -- it reads: "Mama and baby are doing great. She is so good at having babies, I feel so blessed and fortunate to have a wife like her, they are both so beautiful. Leni and Henryboy were both so excited seeing him yesterday. It's amazing how much he looks like Leni when she was born. I mean, he is completely different looking from Henryboy so as Lauren put it, he will surely look more like HK as he grows. He is so precious and really hasn't been that noisy on his first night spent on earth. Wow! what an amazing experience to have been a part of. Thanks for all the kind wishes that you guys keep sending us. You're all the best fans anyone could ever have . . . I really mean that."
  10. Baby News It's A Boy for Scully Gillian Anderson The truth is finally out there. Less than eight months after separating from her husband, Gillian Anderson, the former "X-Files" star, has given birth to a son. The father of the baby is Anderson's new boyfriend Mark Griffiths, director of a lucrative wheel-clamping firm. The couple's son, Oscar, was born three weeks early at the exclusive Portland hospital in central London on Wednesday, November 1, weighing 6 lbs 8 oz. But the birth was made public only this weekend after he came out of intensive care. A heavily pregnant Anderson, 38, was last seen in October at the premiere of her new film, "The Last King of Scotland," about Idi Amin. The actress was previously married to Clyde Klotz, an art director on "The X-Files," with whom she has a 12-year-old daughter, Piper Maru. The UK-based American actress came to prominence in the 1990s playing Dana Scully, an FBI special agent, in "The X-Files." Her escapades with aliens and freaks turned her into a pin-up for geeks. Gillian Anderson Her acting talent, however, was recognized this year when she was nominated for both an English Bafta Award and an American Emmy Award for her portrayal of Lady Dedlock in the BBC's adaptation of "Bleak House." In April, Anderson announced her separation from the film-maker Julian Ozanne, her second husband, after 16 months of marriage. After the split Anderson reportedly said: "I'm incredibly strong willed and like to do things my way. If I'm 100% honest, part of me thinks my way is always the right way." Anderson is believed to have met Griffiths, 34, when her relationship with Ozanne was in trouble. She told friends she was pregnant with Oscar just three months after the split. Griffiths has been linked in the past to Geri Halliwell, the former Spice Girl. "Both mother and baby are doing fine now," Anderson's spokesman said last night.

  12. Okay, who else saw this coming as K-Fudd's next sleazy move? Personally, I think their 'Manny' should sue for full custody of the boys since he seems to spend more time with them than anyone! LOL! Divorce Drama Federline Seeking Support and Child Custody by Jeremiah Marquez Kevin Federline follows behind wife Britney Spears assets LOS ANGELES, California -- A day after Britney Spears filed divorce papers, Kevin Federline counter-filed court papers Wednesday seeking sole custody of the couple's two children. The former backup dancer and aspiring rapper is also seeking spousal support. He says the couple's community assets are "uncertain." Contrary to his perception on their assets, Spears said in her divorce papers there were none to speak of, suggesting the two had a prenuptial agreement in place. Spears wed Federline in the fall of 2004. They had a ceremony in September, but court papers state the couple were officially married October 6. "Kevin is prepared to go the distance in order to do what he feels is necessary to protect and safeguard the children and will not be intimidated or dissuaded from pursuit of those goals," said Michael Sands, spokesman for Federline's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan. Citing "irreconcilable differences," Spears filed for divorce on Tuesday, November 7. Spears, 24, and Federline, 28, have a 1-year-old son, Sean Preston, and an infant son, Jayden James, who was born September 12. Spears is seeking custody of both children.
  13. Heartbreak News Britney Spears Files for Divorce by TMZ Staff Kevin Federline and Britney Spears Britney Spears has filed a petition for divorce from Kevin Federline. TMZ obtained the legal papers, filed pn Tuesday, November 7 in Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing "irreconcilable differences." In her petition, Spears asks for both legal and physical custody of the couple's two children, one-year old Sean Preston and two-month old Jayden James. Also, Spears is asking for Federline to get reasonable visitation rights of the two boys. As for money, sources tell TMZ the couple, who married in October 2004, has an iron-clad prenup. Not surprisingly, Spears is waiving her right to spousal support. She's also asking the judge to make each party pay their own attorney's fees. Spears gives the date of separation as yesterday, the same day she flaunted her incredible revamped physique during a surprise appearance on David Letterman's show. Sources tell TMZ there was no single reason for Britney pulling the plug, rather, it was "a string of events." Spears has hired powerhouse celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, who has repped a number of celebs, including Angelina Jolie, Nick Lachey and Kiefer Sutherland. We're told Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe asked Wasser to represent both of them in their split, but Wasser declined for personal reasons. Significantly, Britney lists the date of her marriage as October 6, 2004. There was an uproar around the time of the wedding because the highly publicized "secret" ceremony was held on September 18, leading many to question the validity of the ceremony. Now the divorce documents indicate that the lavish ceremony was not the official wedding.

The show was halted as Easton's co-star, Ethan Hawke, asked for help from any doctors in the audience. Easton was hospitalized, but appeared to recover quickly, said the theater's spokesman, Philip Rinaldi. "They don't know what it was," Rinaldi said Thursday. "He was OK last night. He was alert, lucid, talking. He seemed fine. Today, he is undergoing a battery of tests." 19. Illness News Ailing Usher Bails on 'Chicago' Usher as Billy Flynn in 'Chicago' "Chicago" is no longer Usher's kind of town. And that has producers feeling about as sick as the bedridden star. After learning this week that the platinum-selling R&B artist was no longer on hand to 'razzle-dazzle 'em' due to an "extreme" case of strep throat, disgruntled ticket-holders demanded their money back, The New York Post reported. Usher has been offstage since last Friday, producing a "horrible" effect on ticket sales, according to producer Barry Weissler. It cost the show close to $400,000 in refunds. Since the Grammy winner's debut as legal slickster Billy Flynn on August 22, the box office has averaged $800,000 in ticket sales per week. "We never expected this," Weissler told The Post in an interview. "He was very sick last week, and it's just gotten worse. Unfortunately, he won't be coming back." Due to the surge in sales, Usher's original run was extended by two weeks and was reset to end Saturday. Usher as Billy Flynn in 'Chicago' Despite having to cut the song-and-dance short by a week, missing 11 performances overall, Usher's participation still helped "Chicago" post a profit of an "amazing" $1.7 million, an unnamed show source told The Post. Which is good, considering Usher was also the highest paid Billy Flynn to ever defend murderess and aspiring superstar Roxie Hart, despite New York Times Theater Critic Ben Brantley calling Usher proof that "it's possible to like someone and be bored by him at the same time." "We just hope Usher gets healthy soon," Weissler said. "He was one of the best Billy Flynns we've ever had. He's welcome back anytime." October 14 also being the almost-28-year-old's birthday, Usher had planned a post-show party at Manhattan restaurant, The Grand, but the shindig has since been canceled. Bianca Marroquin, Bryn Dowling and Usher in 'Chicago' Shortly after the curtain rose on his theatrical career, Usher, ever the sensualist, told People Magazine that "Broadway is like a monogamous relationship. Doing anything else, like acting in Hollywood--which is great--it's like a one-night stand. You do it and then you keep moving." To MTV News, the "Confessions" singer said: "If you think that you will be able to indulge in the nightlife, the wild life of New York City and do Broadway, it's impossible If you do catch me out, it'll be a miracle because I take this that serious." Usher continued to explain in the statement, "It takes a lot to give 120 percent of yourself as an actor, as a vocalist, as a performer, and do it again and again, for eight shows a week. Broadway is no joke." Usher as Billy Flynn with company in 'Chicago' "He is really saddened that he cannot close out his last week in Chicago with a bang," Usher's mom and manager, Jonnetta Patton, said. "He expresses his sincere apologies to all of his fans who purchased tickets to see him this final week." In other news from the theatrical Windy City, Huey Lewis steps into the Billy role on November 20. Ashlee Simpson, meanwhile, joined the London cast of the musical last month, playing Roxie.
  20. Hospital News 'Dynasty' Patriarch Treated for Cancer John Forsythe Charlie knows what his 'Angel' is going through. John Forsythe, who is best known for his role as oil tycoon, Blake Carrington on "Dynasty" but who also provided the disembodied voice for the titular boss in "Charlie's Angels," has been undergoing treatment for colon cancer, a representative for the actor said. "He seems to be in good spirits. They hope to have him home soon," Harlan Boll told The Associated Press. The 88-year-old Forsythe is currently staying at a Los Angeles hospital, where he has been receiving care since being diagnosed with the disease on September 28. No other details about his condition were provided. This news comes barely a week after original "Charlie's Angel" Farrah Fawcett confirmed that she is battling intestinal cancer. The 1970s-era pinup girl recently had surgery to remove a tumor and said that she'll be undergoing "cutting edge, state of the art treatment" for the next six weeks. Fawcett's fellow Angels, Jaclyn Smith and Kate Jackson, both faced bouts with breast cancer, as well. Joan Collins, John Forsythe and Linda Evans in 'Dynasty' Forsythe portrayed the dulcet-toned head of the Charles Townsend Agency--entirely by speakerphone--for the Aaron Spelling-produced ABC series' entire run, from 1976 to 1981. His face was never seen but every once in a while you'd get a rear view. Fully clothed, of course. Forsythe reprised the role for the two big-screen remakes, 2000's "Charlie's Angels" and 2003's "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle," which starred Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu as the crime-fighting 'Angels.' Forsythe had Joan Collins and Linda Evans catfighting over him for the better part of the 1980s on another signature Spelling effort, "Dynasty." Forsythe received three Emmy nominations for his role as Blake Carrington on the prime-time soap and scored two Golden Globes.

  25. Health News Aerosmith's Steven Tyler Reveals Illness Steven Tyler Steven Tyler has apparently been living on the edge more than he previously let on. In an interview with "Access Hollywood" set to air Tuesday night, Aerosmith's sinewy singer reveals that he has quietly been battling hepatitis C, a blood-borne infection that can potentially lead to fatal liver damage, including cirrhosis or liver cancer. Per the New York Daily News, the 58-year-old Tyler tells host Nancy O'Dell that he was diagnosed three years ago but had contracted hepatitis C several years earlier without manifesting any symptoms. He subsequently endured a year's worth of pills and injections containing the antiviral drug interferon. "I've been pretty quiet about this," Tyler says, adding that his physician recommended he undergo the strict interferon regiment three years ago when the group took a break. "You know, it really hurt. It was a bad, bad period." Now, though, the frontman says he's back in the saddle, health-wise. "It is nonexistent in my bloodstream . . . where it's like a complete cure," says Tyler. The virus is often transmitted through dirty needles and typically affects addicts in high numbers. While there is no vaccine or known cure, hepatitis C can be controlled and even reduced in the bloodstream by powerful antiviral drugs such as interferon that strengthen the immune system. No word on whether the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame vocalist will discuss how he contracted hepatitis C , but he has long history of drug abuse. Back in the late 1970s, he and Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry were known as the Toxic Twins for their heavy consumption of drugs, including heroin. Their addictions got so bad the Boston band nearly took a permanent vacation from the rock scene two decades ago. But the group's masterminds cleaned themselves up and launched a hugely successful comeback in the late '80s. Tyler also admits that his health crisis and subsequent treatment put a big strain on his 17-year marriage to fashion designer Teresa Barrick. "I had a little problem at home, to say the least," the "Cryin'" crooner says on Access. "I would run upstairs at night, you know, to put the kids asleep and wake up at 3 in the morning with a nosebleed--you know, just passed out from the interferon, the treatment. It's a shot and pills and all of that. But the good news is I stood the test of time." The couple, who have two teenage children, ended up divorcing last year. Tyler tells Access he plans to talk more openly about his struggle with hepatitis C in the future to raise public awareness. "Hepatitis C is the one that, of all the people in this room, at least three have it and don't know it," he says. "It's the silent killer. I may go on Oprah and talk about this. I hope you don't mind me mentioning that." The musician joins an estimated 4.5 million Americans who suffer from hepatitis C, including fellow celebs Pamela Anderson, Naomi Judd and Larry Hagman. The disclosure caps a difficult year for the rocker. In March, Tyler underwent a successful procedure to repair a broken blood vessel on his right vocal cord, forcing Aerosmith to scrap 12 dates in the spring. And one month ago, 54-year-old bassist Tom Hamilton revealed that he's being treated for throat cancer but planned to rejoin the band on the road in the coming weeks. But Tyler is F.I.N.E. now. He's doing a guest shot Monday as Charlie Sheen's hard-partying neighbor on CBS' "Two and a Half Men," and Aerosmith is currently on the Route of All Evil tour with Motley Crue. The jaunt is in support of "Devil's Got a News Disguise," Aerosmith's latest greatest hits compilation arriving in stores on October 10. The band plans to return to the studio to begin work on a new album in February.
