Lol I agree - seems the control they had at one point (or thought they had) is beginning to crumble away, although they are NOT Dr Will and Mike Boogie (I sometimes feel that they think they are) they have been entertaining to watch, and Peter always yelling in the DR is funny...... I'm glad he won POV, now if only he can win an HOH we might get a good eviction (like Jillian or even Emmett would be nice.......)

Hmmmm - this IS interesting......fishy fishy........she jumped off and celebrated when Arisa announced "before" for all Topaz knew it may have been a tie.......she was never told she won.......hmmmmmmm....you guys sure are observant also it seems a little weird to ask a question based on what the host was wearing - I mean to ask how many liters were in the batter or how many pounds of this or that - but to ask a question based on what the host was wearing on a given night........kinda cheesy

I watched it back and I don't see anything odd - Topaz mimed a gun to her head for a second (because she couldnt make up her mind). I didn't see any acknowledgement from her that she knew she won until her name was announced. Somebody clue me in here please.

If she plays her cards right, she could be a powerful swing vote (she can back the Shield OR the west side alliance) - and therefore stay in the game longer

So, on the surface it appears that Andrew is aligning himself with Emmet, Jillian and Talla, although Talla believes that Peter has her back. I get the feeling that Peter and Alec are getting a little too comfortable, a little sloppy concealing their secret alliance aka "The Shield " (X). They spend too much time together - they're fooling no one...... Is Andrew going to pull the rug out from under them? I think it all comes down to who wins HOH this week. Will Gary's explosion on Talla get him evicted tonight? Is Alec a douche for totally disregarding Topaz after living with her for over a month? Maybe fate will fancy Topaz, and she will win HOH and get rid of Alec! I feel sorry for her, I'd cuddle up with her anytime.... One last thing. I JUST realized a couple of episodes ago that the main bathroom is just a stall..... I mean sheesh it must be real embarassing to stink it up in there....... especially for the ladies..... Any opinions on "The Shield" alliance? Are they slipping...? I hope tonight's HOH is an endurance comp....

While I agree that Canadians seem nicer than folks here in the states, what I DON'T see on the show are any of the less fortunate, hungry for the prize money cut throat houseguests - and I think that sort of houseguest keeps the show interesting, cause they are merciless on the road to the prize. That is what I was referring to in another post when I said that they all seem too nice. Could also be that this is the first season, ruthless tactics have yet to be discovered. I agree with Shinra about the casting. Also after BBUSA 9 (which was pretty awful) CBS seems to only choose houseguests with a certain level of intelligence, and the intelligence quotient makes for less vicious houseguests. Let's not forget Suzette calling Tom a fu*!ing redneck. BB is not supposed to be a lovefest!

You all make such good points!!! I have to agree with Joystick on this one. Privacy is expected in the HOH room. It was lets say...... "implied" that the conversation was private. How was it implied? Well on BBUSA Julie Chen usually speaks privately with the HOH right before the eviction, and I think that Topaz was lulled into that false security. And while Arisa NEVER prompted Topaz to speak her mind openly (unless it was edited out), she DID ask her to explain why she chose her nominees, and IF the nomination ceremony was public, she MIGHT have answered differently then she actually did. Shinra (above) wondered why they didn't send her into the DR, and that is a good question, I'm thinking that the DR would have implied privacy, and that was BB's way of letting Topaz know that the conversation was not private.....? Let me ask another question here: neither Gary nor Topaz win POV. Nominations remain the same. Who do you vote out? Gary is clearly better at this game than Topaz......Wednesday always takes so long to get to!

I just wanted to start a thread so I can hear everyone's thoughts on the most recent happenings inside BB Canda. I liked the instant eviction. It turned out pretty cool. The one crappy thing was that BB totally showed all of Topaz's inner thoughts to the house. That was kind of mean, it might even seal Topaz's fate. I felt REALLY bad that the nominees didn't get a chance to play for POV. Poor little Topaz, she wins HOH, they wake her up to make her nominations, and then it all fell apart for her. Now everyone knows what she was thinking. With Suzette gone, and Topaz likely to follow, Gary's alliance is quickly crumbling. I don't think that a gay individual has ever won BBUSA, a trend that may spread to Canada. Too bad cause Gary is one of the best players in the house. On another note, the scene with Gary crying on the floor and Topaz looking down at him with tears in her eyes (cause she thought she was going on the block I assume) was PRICELESS! Well it seems that Canada will be evicting a HG over the next few days. I can understand Canada nominating a HG - but come on - a full blown EVICTION? That just seems horrible to me. If I was that HG that Canada evicted I would be really really ANGRY! The idea is appalling. Arisa Cox is not the greatest host. She does not have control over the live HOH competitions. She allows the HG's to take as much time as they need. There is no sense of urgency. Julie Chen would be all over them with "HG's, I need an answer NOW!". I thought they were fans of BB USA in Canada but it seems like she's never watched the show before. I keep thinking to myself - "well they'll iron out the little production bugs" but they never do. Four showmances? Eight people coupling up? WTF? All cast members except Andrew are in their mid twenties. I feel like I am watching the teenage version of BB. Where are the older, slicker players who are cut-throat? It seems like they are all liking each other way to much. Way too friendly. Like a school of minnows playing a shark's game. The constant reminder of the HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLAR PRIZE. Whoopee doo. (Don't forget the car and the 25,000 shopping spree at The Brick). Well Suzette is finally gone, that's a relief. She added NOTHING. I could not believe that Canada saved her the first time. Maybe they liked the friction she had with Tom. The live feeds, although free, are constantly off and besides, there's only one camera available! Well we are down to cannibal time, where all the "popular" HG's are left to cannibalize each other. I count the days until either Jillian or Emmet go home. Have either of them ever dated before? They seem like two of the neediest people ever. Once they have sex all that will end.
