Big alliances are started all the time at the start of the season and are successfully broken up by outsiders. All the time. This group of HG's, Donny included, completely sucked in this regard. Not once did I see anyone come forward with a strong case about creating and/or joining another side in the house, so naturally the big alliance stuck together. There were no other reasonable option presented to them. Donny's game was brutal and that is on him. Because it's called trying, which Donny didn't.
