  1. I totally agree with you (I say this strictly from a game play strategy). Why would you keep one, if not THE strongest player in the game? I love Jordan but she would not be the competitor that Rachel will be. There is a better chance she would beat Jordan and then could claim she won the most when it counted the most, etc. Does she think she can win over the jury against Rachel? Even the floaters will see who was the better competitor. Will be interesting...
  2. Adam - Week 9 - POV winner

He did, I guess I missed that...
  3. Adam - Week 9 - POV winner

I agree that he should not use it. From a competition standpoint, I believe he has a better chance of competing against the Jordan/Rachel team vs the Kahlia/Porsche team. Although he has jumped back and forth throughout the game I think he now sees his best shot at final two is with Jordan/Rachel. I really do not think Kahlia or Porsche will take him to F2 whereas Rachel will not want to be up against Jordan in F2 since she thinks the Danielle group is already against her. Great point!!!
  4. You know, I keep thinking the same as you BUT what if one of the challenges is not physical (which she cannot win due to back issues - if you can believe her)? What if it is a guessing game and she should win? Plus you have to know there is another twist coming. If she should snake bye this week then she might be involved in that twist. If she is gone then there will be nothing to worry about in either of these scenarios. I hope they vote her out...
  5. I noticed the same thing...she kept saying, "Well, Adam was talking to Dani the whole time too!", when actually it was Dani and crew coming to him to twist his arm for his vote. He finally told them that he was voting her out and THEY STILL DID NOT LEAVE HIM ALONE but Shelly made it sound like it was all Adam's idea. It worked for a while because Jeff questioned him after the Dani vote AND the vote to send him out of the house. I told my wife that it was pretty funny how she was working both sides of the house but it would eventually bite her in the butt if she was not careful and that was obviuosly an understatement. I only hope that Rachel and Jordan do not change their minds and let her stay. It may be a good game move but taking another chance on being backstabbed outweighs what benefit, if any, is there.
  6. Is BB fixed/manipulated?

OK, I get what you are saying and I can honestly say at this point that I really don't care who wins. It is just fun to watch and then read all the posts that come afterwards (in fact, I like reading the posts MORE than watching the show - and I do mean SHOW). Having said this I would like to make a couple of observations: 1. If you are a newbie and you have the last two vets by the throat then why would you accept the deal that you see in the PB? You have to know that production is up to something. Seldom (if ever) there has been a PB that does not have a negative to go along with the reward so why tempt fate. I don't remember the exact words of Kalia (and I can't believe I am trying to quote her) but even she knew that it was not only a bad deal for them but possibly the thing that will cost them the game. 2. You can see that the most you can come away with is $10,000 so why would you risk $500,000? Some have said it is greed but $10,000 vs $500,000? That does not say much for your confidence in yourself to move any further considering you will be in the final 5 at the very least. 3. I get that it is all about ratings and after Shelly's attempt at finally making a move backfired, I am sure the ratings are through the roof. 4. There will be another twist coming (there always is at this point) so will everyone think production is still manipulating the show? Of course, but I am seeing that the responses are in direct relation with who you want to win. I see the same thing every year during the NBA playoffs. The guys at work ALWAYS believe the refs are pulling for a certain team (usually the other team). THIS IS GREAT ENTERTAINMENT!!!

  8. I agree with most of what you say although I do remember that Jeff's "coup-de-whatever" very much altered the game. As someone else just noted above, "Big payout = big consequences". I honestly don't know what I would have done if I was there but I would hope that I would consider that I had my biggest opposition to winning $500,000 against the ropes and would leave things just as they were. She had to know there was nothing close to that amount of money or prize in PB.
  9. Are you forgettng that Porsh did not have to open PB? If she had not opened it then either R or J would be going home. The "twist" came because of an event that was unknown to either J or R.
  10. Is BB fixed/manipulated?

I do remember reading that in the early days of television (early 60's) the game show "$64,000 Question" was found to be supplying one of their contestants the answers to questions in order to create a buzz about the show. Basically, the premise was that questions were asked of contestants and as they advanced the questions became increasingly harder. One contestant made it all the way to the top but later admitted that he was given "assistance" by the producers (sound familiar). There were investigations launched into the accusations. Afterwards, game shows were almost non-exsistant until the late 60's. Even today, you may notice at the end of game shows as the credits are scrolling along, there is this announcement "portions of this broadcast have been edited but did not effect the outcome of the show". "If" BB is a game show then they should not be allowed to help anyone have an advantage over another player (this is the very definition of CHEATING). "If" BB is for entertainment purposes only then I think it is okay for CBS to do anything they like to make it entertaining. However, don't try and convience us that it is fair and that the best competitor wins the $500,000. Another poster from overseas stated in their version of BB there is assistance freely given in the DR BUT THE AUDIENCE IS ALLOWED TO SEE WHAT IS BEING SAID. Of course, CBS will not do this because they WANT us to believe that it is fair.
  11. Is BB fixed/manipulated?

Or, what if it was an automatic eviction for the opener and the HG of their choice. Of course, after this NO ONE would ever open another PB but it would be hilarious! From what I have read, it was basically the first HoH competition except this time without bannanas but with "dummies" (pardon the pun) of their evicted partners.
  12. Jordan - Week 7

I find it interesting that you say, "it would have demonstrated some integrity on their part" when it was Brendon and Rachel who were going along with Dani to backdoor Jeff early in the game when they had agreed to stay together EVEN AFTER they knew that had lost Dani' alliance. Rachel was willing to throw any and everybody under the bus last week in her talk with Dani in HOH room.
