  1. when you say it gets murky...you are saying that it is not only Cody who has that problem that I pointed to...I guess his particular way of being murky was individualized to him...to what we felt was a difference in him from most others even over the course of the game through the years...so we essentially agree and what you say about Paul is perfection.
  2. It is one aspect of what the show shows...but there have been times we have seen real strategies and real relationships form to enable people to get further in the game...
  3. they were not worth even that to him. I wonder if Jess can keep up a lifetime of whatever would not let him see the cheap crass side of her to allow them to have a successful relationship with kids and home? He will not be a great wage earner...and she has some aspirations to luxury...so will it be worth it to her...for the stability that he offers from his experience? There are not a lot of guys who want to support a wife and kids ...or will support that wife after she has ruined her body with babies...given the view of most men about what constitutes a female worthy of being attracted to.
  4. I think he did and that was why he was trying to be OK with Cody, but he did not get that Jody was not capable of opening from its sexual embrace and he still does not see that his relation with Elena was not what hurt her, but him. He definitely sees that there is nothing he can do that will convince anyone now given Paul's attack and the house agreement that he is not to be trusted..that is so silly since all are not to be trusted by the nature of the game and by the manipulation of Paul and by their allegiance to Paul and the idea that Paul has created.
  5. Nothing you say dislodges what I have said...and while I agree with you, given that all is ok in this game...that means even bullying...saying things about people personally and getting a group to egg someone on...are all strategies...and Paul uses them...his attack on Mark the fact that Jason betrayed that Mark suggested getting rid of Paul are all part of the web that Paul has created that is making him successful and it is nuts that no one sees it. Mark does, but he can not do anything because with Jason's betrayal, no one will want to allow him to make that move with them without running to Paul...at least that is the environment Paul has created and which they all agree to. We watch disbelieving that people can be so utterly stupid.
  6. She clearly knew she had been given the same treatment that Cody was subjected to.
  7. Is this the worst season? It is surely the slowest, most boring, we watch to see when they will have to eat each other and wonder if then Paul will come to their attention..that is the only thing that keeps us...like a soap opera...will anyone do anything to make the inevitable not be?
  8. yes it is a matter of opinion and in normal circumstances we don't want people walking on our tables in our homes, but this place is not a home at all and the general filth and disrespect of decent living these people loll about in...makes the walk no great faux pas.
  9. but then production gives us this recap show and it is all back up again like vomit
  10. Cody was sacrificed to Paul by production, By having to evict so many people, by being the first HOH finding that he could not get rid of Paul, by the sheep, by Alex washing her hands...and by his own incapacity to deal with the characters he was surrounded by.
  11. This was a disgusting show and reminded me of so much ugliness...what did the production think we would feel looking at this ongoing mess culled for its worst moments.?
  12. I LOVED the way he stepped on that mirror table and walked out the door not a fake hug in his wake
  13. The Amish have a practice of shunning as do the scientologists.
  14. well that would be a turn around...and you could claim to be a seer...medium...clairvoyant...prophet...set up a telephone service and make $10 a minute...LOL
  15. actually you show your age more by your values...than by the fact that you remember using a VCR...there are so many factors reducing people to what we see as the character of the generation that it will be a wonder if there is any actual teaching to be done in the universities any longer.
  16. He used the veto on himself because his mom did not birth any fools.
  17. can not separate the clown and fool from the person with this one.
  18. There is something so uneven about Josh. He can sound like he is sensible and understanding for short periods and then back to being a bully and then to being a crybaby. I'd hate to have to do business with him...not knowing who I'd be getting on any given day. Of course he would not bully so blatantly but that basis for attack is built into him. I think there is something wrong with his mind and his emotional balance.
  19. I think I was the first to call him Baby Huey because he is acting so much like a baby and entitled and because he is body type kind of like that cartoon character and because he is a silly goose. Is it name calling to recognize the similarities to a character? I hated when Elena was trying to say something and he kept talking over her and then accused her of yelling because his louder voice is not yelling what crap...that is real bullying. He is a bully and it is not name calling to say so because it is accurate description of the actions of the person.
  20. some people thin k there is no such thing as bad publicity when it comes to hocking goods
