  1. This is where this could come to bite Grodner in the Butt. If one Houseguest comes out of the house and even claims that the show was rigged and the returning Houseguests were told what to do by Grodner, it could get ugly for Big Brother. First of all someone could file a complaint with the FCC saying that they rigged the game. While reality shows for the most part are staged none of it ever should affect the outcome of the game. This has never come out before (From a former Houseguest) that Grodner rigs the game, but if it does now it will spell the end of a career for Grodner in the reality business and possibly in the entertainment business as a whole.
  2. I am still not buying the rumor that JoJo quit the show, if she did why wouldn't her family know anything about it, and the whole thing about Janelle winning HOH to me seems odd as the producers have claimed they have their own agenda in the house and their own prize so wouldn't Janelle playing for and winning HOH mean that it is just a repeat almost of last years twist and show? Also things that don't make sense is that fake twitter that started the whole rumor is gone, it was deleted so that to me tells me that it is not true as well. She might have thrown a fit about the twist about the show, but I don't see quitting as something she would do. Also if it is true that she quit and was replaced by a guy named Andrew then someone that works for Big Brother needs to be fired for leaking information that should not be leaked. CBS I doubt would want this information leaked. But I agree that this mentor thing could end up blowing up in Lazy Grodners face and if that happens I will be glad because we should have an entirely new cast this year with no replacements.
  3. I like her, she seems to really know how to play the game with her strategy of laying low at first but making moves later on, that does seem to work somewhat can can work in her favor. I am skeptical with her not telling people she is a Nurse because that could backfire later if it gets out she lied to them. I am interested to she how she does in the house.
  4. Ashley seems like the one Houseguest that will get evicted early because of playing the game too early too fast. She wants like three alliances which can back fire on her early on and if she is aggressive in creating alliances she will deemed a threat early on and be sent home quickly.
  5. I also would love to see them change the Finale up or at least make it two hours long. My opinion is when the Houseguests leave the house at the end after the winner is announced they should let the winner and the runner up sit with the other Houseguests for the season and go through what happened, and things like that almost like a reunion portion where they can see clips from the season as well as maybe some diary rooms and ask about them some. Right now the ending seems a bit anticlimatic. As for West Coast I think I can say the same thing about the East Coast as well. Living on the West Coast I have to stay away from the feeds and the internet sites on eviction night so I can see what happens from the show. I find watching the show rather pointless if I already now what happens so I like to see the show and then go on the feeds or what not. At the same time the majority of the time when I go to the live feeds right after the show ended if the HOH Comp is an endurance comp I find the comp already over and the Houseguests inside talking about it, or it is almost over and i have to wait until the next episode to find out what happened. For me I think I would like the eviction show to be a truly live show, and possibly make it at 7PM West Coast time and 10PM East Coast time and that way the feeds open right away after for everyone and no one has to miss some of the HOH endurance comps or anything like that right after the live show.
  6. So far I like her, she seems like someone that will tell you like it is and not someone you want to cross, but than again most Italians are like that anyway and while she is not Italian but Sicillian she seems to have the same type of personality. I am 100% Italian and very proud of my nationality and root for anyone that is Italian on the show (rooted for Enzo for a while but after a while just got bored with him). I will root for her at the beginning and if she starts to give me reasons to not like her I will stop rooting for her but overall first impression is a good one.
  7. So the rumor that she quit doesn't make much sense at all. There are a few things that make me question the truth behind this. 1. She says her twitter account is @jojodoll1, the account that this was reported from seems to have come from @jojospatafora with only 12 followers which make it seem kind of odd. Why would she change her twitter account name (didn't even know that was possible) and then on the interviews tell people a different twitter account. The second thing about this that makes me think it is false is the 12 followers, even though she admits herself she is not a huge twitter person having only 12 seems a bit odd. 2. The rumor that Janelle won HOH and that is why she quit makes no sense either. CBS says they are there to play their own game so why would they have the ability to win HOH and nominate two for eviction. That would be them playing the same game as everyone else and not their own game. 3. There are tweets from someone claiming to be a freind of hers that says she did not quit. While normally this could be fake as well, it seems more likely that she is the real deal and the other twitter account is fake, especially since the twitter @jojodoll1 is real and has 77 followers.
  8. She doesn't seem to truly have a strategy which seems pretty good, but that also could hurt her in this game. Slop will be a problem for her in the house as well. First Impression I think she gets voted out pretty early.
  9. I have a lot of respect for Nurses so I tend to root for them because I know how hard the job can be. I have cousins that are Nureses, my aunt is a nurse, I have many friends who are Nurses as well. First impression I like her but I don't see how her game is going to go very far at all, she said she is the nice person and that never seems to really work. If she is able to manipulate a little bit and tell some lies she could go pretty far, but just being the nice person isn't going to do much at all.
  10. From what I have heard from past Houseguests who are asked that question about the key sequence, it is staged and they actually don't have just one hour to pack like it suggests. I assume that they film that after letting the Housegusts know they are going to be on the show, and they just tell them to act as though they have no idea the camera is there. I think it would be cool to hook someone that the HG knows with a hidden camera and then have them find the key and let them react naturally.
  11. But do we know for sure if these people were asked or if they actually applied for Big Brother. As far as we know many of these people might have applied in previous seasons and not picked for those seasons but came back to do this season. From what it looks like the majority of the people on this season have seen past seasons and are a fan of the game so I think it is possible they applied for the show either this season or last.
  12. So I didn't get the live feeds last year because I didn't have time to watch them or anything but am getting them this year. What should I know about this new format? What is the best way to watch them?
  13. I really don't want to see Mike Boogie back in the game because he was basically a puppet to will the whole time. I don't want to see Dan in the game because I felt the whole cast that season was just plain boring. Jessie just annoys the crap out of me. Britney I wouldn't mind seeing again, Janelle I wouldn't mind but I can't see why she would leave her 7 month old baby for three months. Kaysar I wouldn't mind but I don't see it happening. Rachel would be my worst nightmare coming true, and Renny was just plain boring to me. Regan I wouldn't mind because he actually was pretty good his season.
  14. I love this show, in fact it is my favorite show during the summer to watch. But the five things I don't like have to involve Alison "Lazy" Grodner. 1. I don't like that the twists seem to be different versions of other twists we have seen recently. In BB9 we saw Pairs, the twist itself wasn't bad because it was the first time we saw it and it really threw people for a loop. Then in BB11 we saw the Cliques in the game. I thought when I heard it how cool it may turn out to be, but in the end to me it flopped. Those were the first times we saw teams or Duo's in the game which spiced things up a little, but then in BB13 we again saw Duo's only this time we saw six former Houseguests return to play the game and the other Houseguests picked their Duo's. All it was was a redo of BB9 only with some changes. And now it looks like in BB14 we are going to see Teams yet again. 2. Have and Have Nots. I loved this when it began because it was a twist that really screwed with the minds and the heads of the Houseguests, but I hate that we keep seeing it every year. I say it is about time we started seeing something new. 3. The repeating Competitions. Every year we seem to see the same competitions throughout the year. Every year we get the unitard, we get the go and find the name and bring it back to some big talking head, Even the HOH Compeitions that are mind based are the same basic questions, higher or lower, true or false, things like that. 4. The returning Houseguests are getting old. In BB7 we had All-stars, we then didn't have any returning Houseguests until season 11 when we saw Jessie return to play the game yet again. At this my mind was OK, thats kind of cool I didn't like Jessie and wanted another person back in but whatever. I thought doing it the one time was OK, but then we saw it again in BB13, and know we will see it again in BB14. Returning Houseguests are cool if done once every five or so seasons, but every other year is getting ridiculous. 5. Basically I think Alison "Lazy" Grodner needs to leave the show and they need to come up with a better producer for the show. The casting every year I have no problem with because I can always find one player that I root for in the game. But the twists, returning players, competitions, are all being repeated with slight variations to make it look like a brand new twist but in reality it is just a refreshed, recycled twist. Alison "Lazy" Grodner is just not doing this show any favors. Like i said I love this show, but I think Grodner is leading this show into the ground because she can't come up with a new thing to save her life. When she began on the show, twists were pretty cool, BB4 twist with the ex's was great, BB5 with the Twins, as well as the sister and Brother was pretty cool, BB6 with the relationships and all the Housguests knowing someone else and trying to keep it secret was actually pretty cool, because it has to be hard to keep it a secret that you know someone in the house coming in. BB7 All-Stars was great, no new twists just the returning players all playing together, BB8 with the "enemies" I think really was a cool thing because while people knew each other it was people you probably did not want to see in the house with you. In BB9 we had Jen and her BF which was OK, it seemed the BF did it in order to get Jen in the game, and wasn't all that keen about being there. While the main twists dealt with someone knowing someone else it worked for the most part, but then it seemed all she did we recycle old twists and right now it is starting to get really old. If BB comes back for a BB15, I would love to see either a true All-stars with the first or second ones evicted coming back to compete, or all new Houseguests with a twist that shakes up the game without it being recycled. I wil watch season 14, but at this point I am almost tempted to start a peition asking for Alison Grodner to go.
  15. I think it is inevitable that the Houseguests will be grouped into pairs, Alison "Lazy" Grodner doesn't come up with anything other than this. Big Brother 9 we had pairs, Big Brother 11 had the cliques which broke people into teams, Big Brother 13 had duo's and it looks like Big Brother 14 will have teams. That means that Big Brother has done Duo's/Teams 4 times out of 6 seasons.
  16. Now they have said that the most successful former Houseguests will be back which if true would mean Dan, Boogie, Britney and Enzo. Britney was played throughout the season and didn't catch on which would make a good argument she was not successful. But I have a feeling that when they say successful they mean someone who was successful from the eyes of Alison "Lazy" Grodner. That makes me think that Jessie will be coming back in this game as Alison loves him.
  17. I wouldn't be surprised that Britney comes back, but I also think it could be Jessie as he is loved by Grodner. This whole mentor idea to me is just plain stupid and who ever came up with the idea (Grodner) should be fired!! The mentor idea has a few things going against it. 1. It opens up the possibility of the show having the impression of being rigged. All it needs is one Houseguest to say that the producers rigged the show with the former Houseguests as their accomplices. The Houseguest could say that the former Houseguests told the players who to nominate, who to evict, and what not. 2. It has the potential where the players stick with their own "team" throughout the show. 3. The mentors will control the house. To me returning Houseguests should only be brought in to actually play the game and as a twist for the season. Also returning Houseguests should only happen once every five seasons or so. In Season 11 when Jessie came back in the house I thought it was a good idea, one player from a previous season comes back in to disrupt the house which it did. But then when they did it in BB13 as well that was too much, and in that season it basically was a fan vs favorite year (except for the fact it was Brenchel coming back). The idea of dynamic duo's as the twist wasn't a bad idea, but they could have done that without the returning players. The idea on the Golden key to me was a pretty good move, because it brought a new element into the game and had the chance of making the people "safe" all those weeks go stir crazy or just get complacent. Now I would hate to see a Golden Key thing come back this year as to me that was a twist that only should be used once.
  18. So one fo the earlier promo commericials about the upcoming season said that there will be more Houseguests than ever before. Looking at the cast list, there are 12 new Houseguests and 4 returning which makes for a total of 16 which isn't the most ever as BB8 had 16 Houseguests. Now there are few possible explanation to this. The first being that there was supposed to be 17 but one dropped out. The other option is that there is another twist to be thrown in there and there is a secret Houseguest which will make 17. What does everyone think?
  19. Right now there are 12 new Houseguests and 4 returning Houseguests which make 16 which ties for the most ever but doesn't truly meet their promise of most ever. Either one of the twists is anothing unknown Houseguest entering the house to make 17, or he was slated to be on but either quit or got kicked out right before.
  20. I think it is Jessie, Janelle, Mike, and Dan as the returning people. Grodner loves Jessie and so he will probably be back.
  21. Concidering the rumor that Janelle, Mike "Boogie", Dan, and Rachel I will go with three out of the four. I think Rachel was asked but turned it down because of Brendon didn't want her to do it again. Allison also said today that no one from last season will be back, so that eliminates Evel Dick, Danielle, Jeff. I would say the last one will be Jessie since we all know Allison has this big crush on Jessie. It says four of the most successful will be back, that means if we take what was said that no one from last season will be back that leaves Natalie, Dan, Britney and Enzo as the most successful on the list, but I doubt any of them will be back.
  22. How so? So far we have 9 Houseguests being named in the promo, that does not say anything about if the mentor twist is real and it says nothing if the other Houseguests will be new to the game or not. The one thing I am taking from this if Russels' brother is on the show than I doubt Russel will be here as well. I say wait until we find out who the rest of the cast will be.
  23. I don't mind the idea of former Houseguests coming back in the house to play again, what I don't like is that is seems to be happening more frequently. In BB11 they had Jessie come back, then they did lasy year and it looks like they are going to do it this year. What I don't like about the mentor thing is that I think it opens the show up for manipulation somehow either from the mentors or the producers. Also if I was a new Houseguest on the show this year I would resent having a mentor because I think the new Houseguests should have to figure the game out for themselves instead of a mentor telling then what to do. I mean basically we could have it where the mentor tells the HOH who to nominate, and then who to get evicted. On the other hand we are basically choosing alliances as it would seem more like a team game. I just think the whole idea is very unimaginative but Grodner is known to be lazy and not have an imagination.
  24. I don't like this mentor thing at all, I hate the idea that former Houseguests are coming back into the game yet again. The first time they did this I was OK, this could be interesting but then when they did again the next season and then the next I was I like OK give me a break all ready. The bring people back has been done and smashed to pieces yet Lazy Grodner can't think of anything new to do.
  25. The Mentor rumor could very well be true as it would be a chance for Grodner to bring her favorite HG's from other seasons back to the show. I don't see how Janelle could do it as she just gave birth to a baby a few months ago I think so that I think is out. Mike Boogie probably not because I think he is in trouble with the law. As for Rachel I totally see her coming back to the show as well as Dan coming back to the show. What the problem is I could see HG's come out of the House and claim the show was rigged and they never had a shot in the show. To me this would hurt the show instead of help it. The rumor where you can win more than one HOH in a row seems like a twist Grodner would do, but it seems like it might be unfair and I kind of like the idea of the HOH from the previous having to fight not to be placed on the block. Basically I don't like either of the twists that have been runored. I think Grodner is a bad Producer for the show and should be fired from her job because she is lazy and doesn't have an imagination. Personally I think the bringing past contestants has been used way too much in the past few years and a totally new cast should be used. I fully expect former HG's to come back in the house though as I doubt Grodner knows anything out.
