seems like the only time I can really read and post on this board lately is 6:30 am eastern time. luckily I am up and more-than-willing at that time... this morning it was a choice between perusing the boards or watching Ivette and Beau on the hammock. So, here I am on the boards.

I am not looking for a fight. Just expressing MY opinion. Also, when someone that is a certain type of person saves your life, it is human nature to then want to like people who match that certain type.

somebody yesterday said kaysar was "not at all sexy" As far as your question about why some people don't like Kaysar, who knows? To each his own. As a New Yorker who was intimately involved in the events of 9/11, I really really wanted to like Eric. Alas, I did not. People have their preconceived motivations and desires and for us to try to figure them out through the abyss of the message board face they put on is pure folly.

seems like the guys doing proxy registering (or whatever it's called) are going to cancel each other out because one is doing it for eric and the other for kaysar.

what in the html is missing that should be there for them to be counting the online votes? I will ask my husband about it after you tell me. He is an html expert and can verify for us. Thanks!

seems like you are just looking for excuses to use the word that you already knows bothers a lot of us... well, as long as YOU are having a good time.

the 'n' word is not "simply" anything, shockalot. I highly recommend that you either read the book or see the movie "roots" and then maybe you will have a slightly better understanding of how that word is just one example of how our country made a practice of degarding, abusing and killing an entire race for many many years using that word all along the way. It is symbolic in this country of the torment brought to the african american people by their enslavement. That is why african americans are entitled to use it now as a way of turning it around on the rest of us. Some of us, on the other hand, are not entitled to use it because we are not african american and our people did not go through what they went through. It most definitely is a cultural thing in our country. That doesn't mean it is not worth respecting.
