  1. ROFLMAO!! While I am entirely on board in believing that BB sometimes rig the contest for certain contestants to win, I still need to see some type of credible evidence. Without a doubt, this is the biggest piece of unsubstantiated crap that I have read in this forum this entire season. What in the world are you smoking and can I have a drag of it? All of the heresay "evidence" that you are posting as FACT is merely speculation on your part. I dislike Amanda with a passion, but there is no need to fabricate situations that do not or did not exist. The hands pushing Helen off the wall was ingenious, hilarious, and a nice touch, but obviously fake. Nevertheless, if Amanda has the DPOV, then I will send Morty's a $100 contribution as soon as it is revealed on air. He will let you know if I renege on my word.
  2. I have to agree with both you and Hawknose. As a woman, I would be flattered if my man thought I tasted like butterscotch. However, if the old pervert down the street implied that he tasted me when he didn't, I would be highly upset.
  3. I don't know if she had a choice but to vote out Candice and Jessie, unfortunately she could not garner enough votes to keep them. She is only one player and not a Miracle Worker. She can only do so much to protect others. But when she first had the chance to vote out Amanda instead of Howard, she should have quickly jumped at that chance. Remember she did seriously consider it, but concluded that it was too early to get rid of Amanda. She had rounded up the votes to get rid of Amanda, but told her camp that they had to wait until Amanda was put on the block a second time by the MVP. She made this decision even though she acknowledged that Amanda going on the block a second time might not happen, especially if Howard was the MVP like she suspected. This bad decision started her downfall. Because when Amanda went on the block the second time, Helen was unable to get the votes needed to evict her. So she had to go along with the "house" in evicting Candice, Judd and Jessie. But she didn't panic because she thought she would be comfortable in her alliance until the Final 5. Little did she know that Andy was reporting her every action to McManda and, unlike Helen, they would waste little time in getting her nominated for eviction.
  4. Speaking of Spencer, did he really say on camera that Jessie's female parts tasted like butterscotch? Was he serious, or was that just one of his crude jokes?
  5. Hawknose, thanks for the clarification. Ahhh yeah, I remember Lawon who was so sure that he would have "super powers", LOL. But if I am not mistaken, wasn't he seriously being considered for nomination beforehand? So, is it possible that to protect his ego, he chose to view his impending nomination as a positive experience by embracing the unlikely "super powers" theory? Or was he just incredibly gullible?
  6. Who was the All-Time biggest Big Brother idiot, Kaysar or Marcellas from BB3? Has anyone ever surpassed Marcellas' stupidity, or should I say his trusting nature? He was on the block, won the Veto, but decided not to use it. He was promptly voted out and seemed genuinely surprised that that had occurred. I still do not understand his reasoning for not taking himself off the block. Can someone enlighten me?
  7. I did not think that the introduction of the MPV had anything to do with the backdoor option. I just thought that making the MPV a permanent part of BB could be an interesting way to defend against the backdoor option. This assumes, of course, that BB agrees that backdooring people is not a good thing. But I think that if they did have an MPV nominee, your suggestion of everyone playing for the Veto and that it MUST be used is an even better idea. I really believe that this would raise the level of integrity in the game. But who am I kidding? This game is more about who is the best at deceit and dishonesty, not about honor and integrity. We so love the drama!
  8. I definitely see your point and can appreciate your position. And, I have no problem with someone winning BB by "outsmarting" the competition, if they do it on their own instead of in a group. However, I personally do not consider lying and deceiving alliance members to be "smart", to me it is merely devious and dishonest. Of course, there are exceptions and not all BB winners won by relying too heavily on an alliance or rode a coattail to the end, but I wish someone could name me one BB winner who could match James' or Janell's record. Is it possible to win BB with an honorable strategy? I think so! I just think that it would be nice to see that happen. And getting rid of the sleazy, underhanded, backdoor option would be a great start.
  9. Kudos to BB15. The MVP was a great twist! It allowed an overall fairer contest .But think about it, the MVP could finally facilitate the survival of the fittest! Initially contestants were supposed to play the game as individuals, now they must have an "alliance" to win. This may give viewers more fun and drama as contestants backstab their so called friends and alliance members, but why can't someone ever win honorably on their own? Contestants win because either they cloak themselves in alliances or ride someone's coattail to the end. The winner is rarely deserving of the win because they themselves won multiple challenges, HOH's or Veto competitions. The winner usually wins mainly because of their ability to lie well, deceive and abuse other contestants trust. Most winners have only a few paltry wins of their own under their belt. And they were only able to get those few wins after their alliance have voted out all of the superior intellectual and athletic contestants. What BB need to do is keep the MVP as a regular part of BB. This would stop the cowardly and despicable "backdoor" option. The "backdoor" option diminishes any kind of legitimate sportsmanship. I feel that "backdooring" people is so lowdown and unfair because they are evicted without ever having an opportunity to play for the Veto. This could all change. With the MVP there would be three nominees. What could happen is that only the nominees would play for the Veto. And after the Veto competition the winner would remove himself or one of the other nominees from the block and then the houseguests would vote to evict one of the remaining two contestants. No more replacements! No one could be evicted without an opportunity to save himself. It would be so wonderful to see a season of BB where someone like James of BB6 or Janell of BB6/BB All Stars fame (who won mutliple competitons because of their intellectual and athletic abilities) win BB. What a novel idea: a true BB champ! But isn't this really how the game was intended to be won?
