Heather Locklear Arrested After "Concerned Citizen" Calls CHP

Santa Barbara County Former Melrose Place cougar Heather Locklear picked the wrong place for a meltdown this weekend.

The small-screen star was arrested around 5 p.m. Saturday after California Highway Patrol officers found her parked car blocking traffic in Montecito, Calif., a tony enclave near Santa Barbara.

According to the incident report, a "concerned citizen" called police after witnessing Locklear, 47, "driving forwards and backwards over a pair of sunglasses and revving her engine" in a parking lot.

The witness then came upon Locklear again on the road.

"The citizen became concerned when Ms. Locklear exited her vehicle and stumbled into the traffic lane...the citizen called 911 and reported the entire incident to CHP Ventura Dispatch."

When officers arrived Locklear appeared disoriented, per the report, and after giving her a sobriety test they determined she was not suffering the side effects of a booze binge.

"Although obvious impairment was exhibited during the tests, alcohol was ruled out as a factor," the CHP said in a statement. Locklear was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence and taken to the Santa Barbara CHP office.

"She was evaluated by a drug recognition expert, who concluded Ms. Locklear was under the influence of a controlled substance, and could not safely operate a motor vehicle," CHP said in a statement.

Locklear's publicist declined to comment on the arrest.

The former Spin City fixture was booked at the Santa Barbara County Jail. She was released at 11 p.m. Saturday on $5,000 bail.

In June, Locklear checked into a rehab center in Arizona for anxiety and depression. She returned home after one month at the Sierra Tucson treatment facilty

I didn't take it as cocky. The fact of the matter is, he is right. Both of the alliance got to the final and won. Will and Boogie didn't get it done together x2, but they each won their prespective years in the F2. So, its really a toss up on that one.

Knew that Vesper! And I wasn't asserting that I thought Dan was Cocky or Arrogant. Those are just adjectives that have been used frequently by people who didn't board the Dan train..

I laughed while sitting there listening to Dan, he used the same voice when he was talking into the camera today as he did in his DR sessions! It cracked me up because of the comments I'm sure that will be written about that as well.

I must say, it was hilarious to watch these two outside the house together. I did believe that they forged a friendship! They were comfortable with each other.

Another thing that killed me was when Gretchen started naming off some things to Memphis that Dan had done game wise that Memphis had not been aware of, America's Player, Michelle on trip, etc. Memphis just laughed that it made him respect Dan's gameplay even more!

With all the discussions this week heating up this board, as well as most every BB discussion board, about who is the best player in BB history, principally focused on Dan vs. Dr. Will, I sincerely hope that everyone got a chance to see Dan & Memphis on House Calls today!

Dan was very modest about it and certainly paid homage to Will. He even mentioned a couple of times that to even be mentioned in conjunction with Will/Chilltown was an honor! He made reference to watching Will while he was still a teenager and being inspired by Will. He even made reference to the fact that there was little else that could be invented in how to play the game. He sounded like a major student of the game.

For the benefit of any Dan haters out there, he did get arrogant/cocky (insert your preferred adjective) when he did say that; "the Renegades had accomplished what Chill Town could not . . . . and Chill Town had two shots at it!"

So something for everyone!

BTW - While on the subject of the Gretchen interviews, something during Dan's I felt spoke volumes about his character. While talking about teaching at St. Mary's, he made the comment to Gretchen that he loved teaching there, and with winning the $500K, he felt that would allow him to stay there always!

You are so right UVP! If you watched both Dan's and Memphis' interviews with Gretchen, it sounded like Memphis was much more loyal to the Renegade Alliance than Dan. Dan was in game mode to the bitter end!

Jerry still thinks he was right to call Dan Judas (After learning as AP, Dan was not playing, America was .... so Jerry called America "Judas"....

That reminds me of Jessie's visit to HouseCalls after he was evicted. Gretchen and ED told him that America had instructed Dan to vote for Jessie. Jessie said that Dan should have not done it regardless. ED said Dan got paid $20K to complete the tasks, and Jessie said Dan still shouldn't have done it! ED, by then, incredulous, said "you mean that if someone was going to pay you $20K, you wouldn't have done it?" Jessie still maintained that HE wouldn't have voted that way, even for the $20K!

DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Many people are unwilling to say that their decision is wrong, no matter how idiotic their position is! Jerry's no different. We all saw his ego in action during the course of this season!

She did add spice to the game. This cast has been pretty entertaining actually. Last night during Keesha's little jealous time about Angie, Renny pulled no punches with Keesha when she talked about Angie being "Naturally" beautiful, even without any makeup. I think she was just being honest and didn't particularly care if it tweeked Keesha a little.

She really does suck at the game of BB, but she had a purpose for being here, and she performed her function admirably
