  1. Sunday’s Big Brother delivered its largest audience of the summer, according to preliminary Nielsen Live + Same Day ratings. The CBS reality show was first in viewers (6.9 million) and among A18-49 (2.1/7).
  2. .. I will never forgive him. And if I was Zach, I would vote against Frankie at the end, no matter who he was up against (even Victoria).
  3. Is it just me, or do this year's houseguests seem a bit smarter than those in past seasons? It may be that the average IQ in the house has finally risen above 100.
  4. Is there a second HoH room?

Thanks, straycat. I had forgotten about the Pandora's box room, and the one-night only thing was something I wondered about, too. (Why build a whole new room for only one night a week?) Maybe you can answer this, too: Are the monitors in the HoH room tuned to the same feeds that subscribers buy, and do they get their feeds turned off when we do? (Jeez, I'm awfully curious for so early on a Saturday morning. You'd think I was looking to rent out the room )
  5. If so, does it have a separate entrance and bathroom, or do you have to walk throught the main HoH room?
  6. Live Feed and BB After Dark 8/31

About 3:00 a.m., helicopters buzzed over the Big Brother house because of a burning car which was found to have a body in the trunk. For location reference, the BB house is on the CBS lot at 4024 Radford Ave. in Studio City, and the car was parked near 4600 Radford, about six blocks north. Several hours later, helicopters buzzed again when the coroner found a "suspicious device" at the scene while removing the body. There were evacuations, but none closer than five blocks from the house. Here's a news article posted around noon today: ============= Suspicious device found while removing body Hours after a body was found in the trunk of a burned-out car in Valley Village on Tuesday, police discovered a suspicious device at the scene. Authorities evacuated houses north of the 4500 block of Radford Avenue as a bomb squad investigated the suspicious device. The device was found as a coroner was attempting to remove the body from the car. L.A. City Fire responded to reports of a car fire at Radford Avenue and Hortense Street at about 3 a.m. The blue 1989 Toyota Camry, parked just north of the 101 Freeway off of Laurel Canyon, was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived. When the fire was out, crews found a body burned beyond recognition in the trunk of the car. Detectives say it's unclear how the victim was killed. Authorities said because the car was near the freeway, any noise would have been masked. The murder has residents in the area on edge. They've lived through more than half a dozen homicides in just the past six months. "I'm thinking of moving," said Gretyl Simon of Valley Village. R. J. Johnson of Valley Village said this wasn't the first time a body was found in a burning car near the freeway. "There was another strange murder here. A woman was found in the trunk of a car right down the street. And there's been a couple cars burned along here before," he said. "This isn't the first time a car's been burned under that bridge." Other residents say the location on Radford Avenue, somewhat tucked away and just feet from the freeway, likely appeals to suspects looking for a place to dump their victims. Authorities said they do not believe the recent murders are related. No further information is being released at this time. Police are hoping the public will be able to help them with leads in this case. Anyone with information is urged to call the LAPD North Hollywood Station at (818) 623-4045.

  8. Chima - Part 2

Here is the opening line of Chima's bio on cbs.com ... "An exotic beauty, Chima is truly as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside ..." Uh-huh
  9. Chima - Part 2

A quick note about Freedom of Speech. Your free speech rights can be violated only by a government entity of some kind. Inside the BB house or on a forum such as this one, the concept does not apply. Both are private enterprises and they make the rules. Chima's only freedom in the house, and our only freedom in this forum, is to leave if we don't like the rules.
  10. Chima - Part 2

To me, this is the key to Chima's entire way of thinking ... she sees herself as a victimized female. Both inside and outside the house.
  11. Dick Week 9

This thread reminds me of an old joke ... What do you tell a woman with two black eyes? Nothing! You told her twice already! Ahh, the classics never go out of style ..
  12. Big Brother Ratings For Season 8

The ratings news is actually much better than you might think, because what's most important to the networks is how a program does in the "demo" -- among 18 to 49-year-olds. More viewers in the demo means the network can sell commercial time for more money. So here are the ratings that CBS considers most important: (As you can see, BB8 held down the #5, #8 and #9 spots .. outrating even an NFL preseason game, which costs MUCH more to produce.)
