  1. As far as we can see, Jenn was person who voted for Ian b/c Dan was a 2nd time winner. Stop using that as an excuse for Dan. I think Dan knows better that wasn't the main reason why he lost. He lost the social aspect of the game and failed to realize that there is a jury deciding the winner at the end.

If he knew he couldn't win, why not bring Boogie so the house will have to pick between to past winners. Saying Ian won b/c Dan was a past winner is BS...

Jenn was not the only one to say it. And he DID want to bring Boogie. He tried really hard to ( a ) get Boogie separated from Frank, ( b ) get the house to vote out Frank over Boogie when they were nominated together (sadly, Frank won the veto and that became impossible) and ( c ) get the coaches to align. Dan got that his chances were slim to none against a newbie with a jury full of newbies. Sadly the Booger was immune to the mist and too stupid to realize that sitting next to Dan at the end was probably HIS only shot at a win as well.

IMO, Ian won the money but Dan won the title.

  2. You're missing the point here. Frank never used a Bible to seal a promise. Frank has never claimed to be a Christian. Frank hasn't disgraced America by calling someone terrible names. He was wrong to sit with Boogie, and call people names, but he used NO symbols of Christianity to advance himself in his game. And the fact that many fans are upset about Dan's use of the Bible to lure Frank into a deal, says something positive about "America".

I'm not going to go back and forth ... I respect you feel the way you feel. I just disagree and I think YOU are the one missing the point. AMERICA chose Frank as their favorite. That's what disappoints me about it. That America's favorite was the only person I personally heard repeatedly use a racial slur. Even Willie didn't stoop that low. As I said, I hope it's because most of the voters didn't have live feeds and are living in ignorant bliss. Otherwise, I just think it's really sad to reward that kind of behavior. And I think that, in many cases, the same people who are condemning Dan's behavior are rewarding Frank's which, in my opinion, was disgusting.

And I guess you are right ... Frank didn't disgrace America. America disgraced themselves by voting for him.

  3. I think that Danielle, Dan, Ian and all the cast made this my favorite season. I loved the blindsides and the backstabbing and the uncertainly every week.

My fear is that with the lashing that the jury gave Dan that future seasons will go back to boring, nice and voting with the house type game. Nobody will want to be "The Judas" that will not get a vote no matter how good of a game was played.

I really fear for the future of Big Brother

I've been a Dan fan all along. I think he played the best game this season and deserved to win. I do agree with and share your fear. That stated, it is possible for people to learn from and improve on Dan's strategy. After all, Dan only won HOH once ... except for Shane's eviction Dan was never the sole person responsible for an eviction yet they all held him solely responsible. I think that was the talent of Dr. Wil ... he also stabbed everyone in the back yet the jury thanked him, loved him and rewarded him for it.

    Should be interesting.

  4. And I agree with you, but when he sealed his lie by placing his hand on the Bible, he showed blatant disrespect towards God and Christianity. A sinner can lie and do that, because he has no relationship with God and Christ, but a person who calls himself a practicing Catholic, should never pull the crap Dan did. He played with God's grace, and that will never be acceptable.

Then why is acceptable for someone who claims to have played a "honest" game to tell Jenn he's got her back and five minutes later call her a racial slur to Boogie and Ashley? I'm sorry. I just think it is so wrong that the person "America" voted as their favorite player is the only one I heard make a racial slur. How can such a large group be upset about how Dan disgraced God yet those same people don't mind that Frank disgraced America and promoted racism?!!

  5. Frank will always be a favorite player of mine. I didn't appreciate some of the mean things he said about some of the houseguests I like such as Janelle and Joe, but I think he played a very nice game...considering he was on the block practically every week. That isn't easy at all, so my hats off to him for lasting as long as he did. I also appreciate the fact that he is true to his feelings. I get so sick of houseguests walking out of there calling BB a game, and then calling the people who manipulated their eviction, friend. They aren't friends and BB isn't a game. It's not Monopoly as Dan equated it to last night. It's real life, because you are living it. And I would never be friends outside of those walls with someone who said heinous things about me, and manipulated me out of a half million dollars. Sorry. I would forgive them in time, but I would NEVER be friends with them. Frank is very angry at Dan and should be, and he is the only BB houseguest who knows this isn't a game.

I'm all for different opinions but what I don't understand is why separate standards are okay? I'm not sure if you are a live feed watcher or just going on what you saw on t.v. but Dan swore on the bible that what he was telling Frank about Ian was the truth and it WAS. He did not swear to everything on the bible but even if he had, I can accept that you think that is wrong under any circumstance. Why, then, is it not wrong for Frank to make racial slurs under any circumstance? It's one thing to call Janelle a b*tch or Joe a loud mouth but calling Jenn "dirty brown trash water" is just wrong under any circumstance, IMO.

  6. I can definitely agree with you but I think the jury was really against letting a former winner win the game. The most shocking vote to me was Jenn but when I saw her backyard interview, she did say she didn't want to give it to a former winner. It is what it is. Dan may or may not have thrown the final HOH but I answered every question exactly how he did so who knows?? I can't say I condone the jury's decision but I'm not surprised. I do have to wonder if they'll regret their votes after seeing everything that went down. I may be biased but I would like to think that I'm just a better judge of who should've won. In the end, though, it is the jury's perception that counts. I do like Ian and am happy for him....but will this season go down as the least deserving player winning? I think so....

I agree about the jury but do have to say part of winning is thinking about the jury. The coaches really should have found a way to stick together until jury before picking each other off. If Dan had sent Janelle and Boogie to the jury in place of any of the newbies I think he could have had their votes along with Britney and Danielle making him the winner. I'm not sure Ian is the least deserving player. He also played a really good game. He was the low man on the totem pole in the 5 personal alliance and his coach always considered him expendable and he still made it to final 2 on his own where as Dan always had Danielle working with him. I would have liked to see Dan win but I don't think Ian is undeserving of the prize either.

Now Frank as AC .... shocker!!! THAT may be the least deserving prize ever!!! If America knew he was calling Jenn "dirty brown mud water" and the such I think it would be a whole different story.

  7. Anyone else find it kind of fitting that Dan was the scapegoat again but for the last time? By this I mean him getting the blame for everyone (which he should because he had a big part it in) But Ian betrayed Boogie, Frank and Jenn, formed an alliance with Dan. Put out Ashley, Frank and Jenn and Danielle (as he was HOH) and the Jury members put ALL the blame on Dan. Dan only lied to everyone about evicting them so he wouldnt have to listen to them whine and bitch at him until they were evicted.

Baffles my mind how everyone thinks Ian played a "clean" game. Makes me nautious to be honest. What was clean about it exactly? He talked shit about Joe all season until he could use him.

to me this is tied with Danielle losing to Lisa on Big Brother 3.

I agree. I think this jury had it's mind made up before they even know who final 2 was that Dan would not win. Joe's question (that they all agreed on) proves that to me. Dan had been called Judas by Joe, Britney and Shane and Frank questioned him on the swearing on the bible thing YET Joe's question is "You said you were up to your elbows in blood yet you only won HOH once so what is it you think you did to get that blood on you?"

That stated, I do think Ian played a very good game and earned his spot in final 2. I was rooting for Dan but am not sorry to see Ian take it. His coach all but ignored him, he was the 5th wheel in a 4 person alliance, his showmance was openly cheating on him, and he was sitting in F3 with a couple that had been together since day 1 yet he still made it to the end. Good for him.

The coaches should have stuck together. I'm not sure any coach (especially not a previous winner) really had a shot with a jury full of newbies, but even that was a smart move on the part of the newbies.

  8. Well same could be said for Ian... Dan had Danielle throughout the whole game. Boogie ignored Ian for most part of the game. Ian was pretty accurate when he said he decided his own fate by starting the quack pack. Before QP, he was somewhat of a floater imo.

Ian did not start the qp - Dan was right / truthful in that BUT I think that is actually a better argument for Ian. He never really had a coach, was brought into that alliance as an expendable 5th wheel, ended up in final 3 with an obvious pair and STILL made it to the end. I was rooting for Dan but I do think Ian played a great game as well and I'm not sorry to see him win.

  9. PS - From everything I've seen on the feeds it appears Dan wants / is counting on a Dan/Ian final 2 but I actually think he's making a mistake there. If he won the last HOH and took Danielle then ( a ) he accomplished the original objective of this season in spite of being down to 1 player week one while all other teams had 3 AND ( b ) there was no doubt in any jurors' mind that Danielle always played Dan's game and never ever played her own and ( c ) Ian is the one person I think would actually respect the move and not be overly bitter (although I do admit I could be wrong there). I know Dan thinks Danielle would win because she had more friends on the jury, but I think those jurors, bitter as they are, can make arguments that Ian played a good game too and I don't think they can do the same for Danielle.

  10. I think Ian knows he wins against both of them so, why not take "the best" for the bonus ego stroke.

I think Ian and Dan BOTH go on the belief that in order to be the best you have to beat the best, but I really think a Dan/Ian F2 could go either way. It all comes down to whether people like Frank and Shane are bitter babies or (Frank especially) truly love and respect the game. Dan will no doubt have Danielle and Jenn. If Frank loves this game as he says, he HAS to admit Dan out played Ian and vote Dan which means Ashley votes Dan too. Joe tends to go with the majority and he never really liked Ian, so I see Joe going for Dan. Brittney has the hardest choice. I think she respects Dan's game play but has a soft spot for Ian so ... she's the one I don't know where she'll go. If Frank and Shane are still being babies then Ian gets them plus Ashley and Joe. I have to say ... this is the first time in years I've had to wonder who will win. I like it. :)

  11. Thanks for posting Dan's practice speech Marty!

I hate it! :( I want him to be sincere with the jury and start with his infamous, "leave your heart at the door" speech. He should just be straight up with each one of the jury members telling them why they were evicted and how it either benefitted his game or how he orchestrated their eviction.

Ashley: You were not the original target but, a QP couldn't go, Frank won PoV and you were his only true allie and so your time was up.

Britney: It was either you or me and you were way to dangerous to my game to go later.

Frank: No one was going to beat you at the end and so, we all had to strike when we had the chance.

Joe: You were the only one that had my number... you and that eagle-eye. *grins at him* You were a threat to me and that's why you went instead of Jenn.

Jenn: I wanted the F3 to be you, me and Danielle. But, with Ian as the HoH this is the one week I didn't have control of what would happen. Also, to save myself, I made a renegades deal with Ian to be the F2 because I knew from last week that Shane and Danielle would never split and I needed an alliance member that would be true to me to the end.

Shane: I tried to chop you two evictions earlier but, your girl saved you and this was my last opportunity to get rid of the biggest physical threat still in the house. It wasn't personal Shane, I had to separate you and Dani.

Danielle: You are by far the my most proud moments of BB, you have been a warrior for both us since day 1 and I couldn't have chosen a better person for my team. If you hadn't proven to me during the DE that you were never going to let go of Shane, I would have you beside me tonight, instead of Ian. You and I know the reason you let me have the power at F4 wasn't because you picked me over Shane it was because you and Shane didn't want Ian's blood on your hands. I hope you respect that I had to make the decision to remain loyal to the one guy that was loyal to me the longest.

He should end with what this BB means to him and that he knows he played a more ruthless game this time around but, only because the calibur of players this year had him out classed physically, mentally and socially. He took the only path left for him to get to the end...

    (Anyways, something like that.)

I hope he hires you as his speech writer someday ... sheer perfection here!! :)

  12. I'm American and proud of it. I'll state my opinion on Ian in underwear. I don't have a problem with people in underwear at all. Ian should never be on TV in underwear period! He has a disgusting body and should keep it covered, for his own good. Because I have a 58 year old body I would never prance around in underwear on tv or in my own home, because I know what my body looks like now. I'm sorry but I don't like seeing his hairy body and I don't like his moobs. I'm not going to pretend I'm ok with it because that is PC way to think. I also don't like seeing a fat body on display I think it's gross, and I Don't like seeing it. Now does he have the right to run around any way he pleases, of course he does, but I DON'T have to like it, or pretend I do! I think the majority of Americans are becoming good little citizens and only saying what is acceptable. It is getting worse with each generation. One day everyone will be afraid to state their opinion. Just like a communist country where people are so afraid of repercussions. I really hope there is enough true American spirit in the coming generations to never let that happen. But in the mean time I don't like Ians body!

Just for the record, I said I was sick of seeing Ian in his underwear and that is what caused NYROSE to decide that "all Americans need to get over" their prudish-ness so to speak, in spite of the fact that NYROSE has no idea what nationality I am. THAT assumption is what irked me about the statement and I don't feel an entire nation should be held responsible for my personal opinion. That stated, I still mean what I said and said what I mean - I am sick of seeing Ian in his underwear! :) And I completely agree with what you have said here. (And I'll add that the patch of hair on his tailbone grosses me out.) I still must say I am against the stereo typing, but I agree with your premise that individuals should have an opinion and not be afraid to stand up for that opinion but also be willing to accept that not everyone will agree with it. That's what keeps life interesting.

  13. 1:53 a.m. BBT - he practices a few more times and adds a line about "this guy is going to tell you he founded the Quack Pack but that's not true. We were already an alliance of 4 and last time I checked it was Brittney leading this guy up to the HOH on a leash and telling him he was gonna be in the alliance whether he wanted to or not." He also wants to talk about making himself hated so it would be desirable for people to sit next to him at the end. He goes through it a few more times and at about 2:10 a.m. BBT he heads to the restroom, washes his hands, puts the timer back in storage and heads to bed. His last version is at two minutes so he still has to cut it down a bit.

  14. 1:50 a.m. BBT - "When this game was reset I knew I was in trouble because I looked around me on the pirate ship and saw two huge physical competitors in Frank and Shane that I couldn't stop. I saw two great social gamers in Jenn and Joe. I saw one huge wild card and never knew where she was coming from in Ashley and I saw one heck of an under rated coach in Brittney that I didn't respect coming into this game but I'm glad I was on her team because I'd never want to go against her. And, of course, how could I forget my loyal warrior to the end, Danielle. I looked at everyone and I said I can't beat these people at their own game so I have got to do something completely different to try and one up them because I never wanted my game to depend on a competition that I didn't know if I could win or not against any of you. So that forced me to play a game that was new to me. I had to play a ruthless game - not because I wanted to but because I had to. I had to build relationships with everyone, get you to trust me then get you to do something for me then after you did that I had to stab you in the back. That's not something I take lightly, I couldn't play the nice guy role like Shane because I didn't have what it took to back that up this time around. At the end of the day....okay" Stops timer. Starts it again. "I had to make crazy chaotic moves like hosting my own funeral to make you believe that Danielle and I would never work again together and that might send Brittney off of the trail that me and Frank could be making a deal. I had to convince Danielle to use the veto on me and tell her I would never vote her boyfriend out and do just that to get to this point. I had to do some cut throat things that I'm not proud of but it got me to this point and now the only thing I can hope is that you vote for the winner of this game based on game play and nothing personal because there was one thing personal that was said in this game..." Stops timer. "If you wanna reward something .."

  15. 1:49 a.m. BBT - "When this game got reset I knew I was in trouble because I looked at everyone on the pirate's ship and I saw some never before seen physical competitors that were out of this world in Frank and Shane. I saw a great social player in Jenn and Joe. I saw one hell of an under rated ... I saw a wild card ... okay I gotta go wild card." Resets timer. "When this game got reset I knew I was in trouble because I looked around me at the pirate's ship and saw two phenomenal physical competitors in Frank and Shane that I couldn't stop. I saw some great social players in Jenn and Joe. I saw a wild card that I never knew where she was coming from in Ashley and I saw one hell of an under rated coach in Brittney that I didn't respect in the beginning of this game, but at the end of the game, I'm glad I was on her team because I would never want to play against her." Stops timer. "Forgot Danielle." Thinks.
