  1. 1:48 a.m. BBT - "Okay. Let's start again. When the reset was hit I knew I was in trouble. I looked around me and I saw some never before seen physical competitors that were out of this world in Frank and Shane. I saw some great social players in Joe and Jenn and I saw one hell of an under rated coach in Brittney that scared the heck out of me and I knew I couldn't beat these people at their own game so I had to do something different. I never wanted my game to depend on me winning a challenge because when the time came I didn't know if I could pull that challenge off to save my life. So I ended up playing a different game." Checks timer. "I can kiss up for a little more." Resets timer and thinks.
  2. 1:46 a.m. BBT - "When this game got reset, I knew I was in trouble because I looked around the pirate ship and I saw some never before seen physical competitors in Shane and Frank. Phenomenal. I saw some great social players in Joe and Jenn. I saw one hell of an under rated coach in Brittney. She scared the life out of me. And I saw a wild card in Ashley that I didn't know where she was coming from at any time. And I looked at myself and I said Dan, how are you going to beat these people because you can't beat them at their own game? You've got to do something different and that's why I had to play a ruthless game. Not because I wanted to because I HAD to to get to this point. I couldn't have played a noble, nice guy game like Shane because I couldn't rely on competitions. My game never depended ... I wanted to set my game up so it never depended on me winning a competition, because I couldn't count on that. What I could count on was the fact that I could build relationships with you, get you to trust me, get you to do something for me, and then I had to stab you in the back. It's not something I'm proud of, but it's what I had to do to get here. You know there's a couple things .. you know I look at Joe. Ian bagged on me ... Ian made fun of Joe ... Ian bagged on it and said what a waste of an HOH to get Joe out of the house. I look at it the other way. Joe could turn one thing I said into a huge elaborate story and then I was in trouble. And you know what, Frank hit something on the head with Ian. He said you know what, there's a different side to Ian there's something we're not seeing. And he was right because the last few weeks in this game ... Ashley, I hate to make this ugly, he attacked you personally. F*ck. I don't know if I want to do that." Stops timer. "I gotta tell them what I did and stop kissing ass. But that's what they gotta hear. First 30 kissing ass last 60 what I did."
  3. 1:44 a.m. - "When this game got reset I knew I was in trouble because I looked around the pirate ship and I saw some phenomenal physical competitors that I had never seen in this game before in Frank and Shane. I saw some great social players in Brittney, Joe, and Jenn. I saw a wild card in Ashley. ..... I saw some great social players in Jenn and Joe and I saw one hell of an under estimated coach in Brittney and she scared me the most out of everyone. And I saw a wild card in Ashley where I never knew where she was gonna come from and it scared me because everyone was so good and I had to play a completely different game than I had ever thought. I had to adapt my game to you guys because I couldn't excel in any one of the areas so I had to play a ruthless game not because I wanted to but because I had to. My game - I wanted to my game to never have to depend on winning a competition because I knew, when push came to shove, I couldn't always count on winning a competition against some of you guys. So I had to play a ruthless game. I had to get you to trust me, like me, do something for me, and then I had to stab you in the back. It's not an honorable game like Shane played, but it's what I had to do to get here. Look at Joe for example. Joe could take one thing I said, add his seven layers of flavor on it, and I'm in trouble. He did that time and time again which is why he had to go. And Ian bagged on me because he said I wasted an HOH getting rid of Joe but to me, he HAD to go because he had my number. "
  4. 1:36 a.m. BBT - Resets timer. "When this game started I knew I was in trouble because ... because of all the competitors on many different levels that I had to go after." Restarts timer. "A minute thirty. Ninety seconds to explain why I deserve a half a million dollars. Most important five points. That's it. What are the five most important points? One that my game never depended on rolling a ball into a hole or me having to win any challenges. Two ..." Thinks. "I really gotta stroke on the jury. I gotta stroke Frank, Ashley, Joe and Shane. And Brittney. Sh*t. That's 10 seconds each." Thinks. 1:38 a.m. BBT - "Hurry up. What are my five most important points. That's it. I get FIVE points Dan. You guys...YOU forced me to play ... you guys are that good ... you guys are that good that you forced me out of my game ... you forced me to play a different type of game." Thinks. 1:40 a.m. BBT - "Alright. First main point ... when I first got to this game ..." Thinks. 1:41 a.m. BBT - "When this game started for me at the reset, I knew I was in trouble because I looked all around me at the pirate ship and I saw some great social game players in Jenn and Joe. I saw some phenomenal physical competitors in Shane and Frank and I saw one hell of an under estimated player in Brittney. That's my fault for under estimating her. And I knew .... and I knew I didn't excel in any one of those areas ... so I had to play a completely different game than I was comfortable with because YOU guys .. because I had to adapt to you guys. You guys forced me ... you guys ... F*ck. F*ck F*ck F*ck. " 1:43 a.m. BBT - "Fewer points more effective." Thinks.
  5. 1:32 a.m. BBT - He heads back out the patio and gets the timer out of his pocket and starts again. "I stand before you... F*ck." Messes with timer. "I stand before you today." Thinks. Messes with timer. "When this game started I came in a little cocky and with a lot of attitude. Then I quickly was turned around after I had my tail kicked in in every competition I played especially {something - maybe "near the end"} with the coaches I under estimated Brittney the most out of everyone. I didn't respect her as a player but I'll tell you one thing - I'm sure glad I was on her alliance because I would never want to play against her in this game. She's so that dangerous. But moving on ... once the reset was hit, now not only have to go against coaches, now I have to go against competitors. Now I have to go against the likes of Frank and Shane. I can't beat them in a shoe lace tying contest let alone some of these competitions. So I knew I was in trouble and I had to readjust my game. I had to play a game that I didn't want to play but I HAD to play which is a ruthless game. I had to get people to trust me, like me, do something for me and right after they did something for me, I had to stab them in the back. It wasn't something I WANTED to do, it's what I HAD to do to get to this point in this game. I look around at the jury. I see someone like Eagle Eye Joe. You know, Ian bagged him. He said it was a waste of an HOH to get you out. I beg to differ. Everything I did in this game you were watching. And not only that, you would take the things I would say and add your seven layers of flavor to it and I had to put out tons of fires that you set with my name on it. " Looks at timer. "Damn. F*ckin A. A minute thirty that's all I get to say. What do you do?" Thinks. "Gotta cut it down. What's the most important points? The most important points are ... " Thinks.
  6. 1:26 a.m. BBT Dan can't sleep. He gets up, grabs his mike, uses the restroom, washes his hands and heads out to the backyard to practice his finale speech. 1:28 a.m. BBT - "I stand before you today humbled. I stand before you today humbled because I came into this game a little cocky. Then I got my tail kicked in by all the coaches in the competitions. Not to mention that, out of all the coaches, I under estimated Brittney the most. I didn't respect her as a player but I'll tell you what, at the end of this game, I'm so glad I was on her team because I would never want to play against her. So then comes the reset. I've gotten embarrassed in all the challenges and I've lost every challenge and now I've got to go against the likes of two of the best competitors to ever play this game in Frank and Shane in the competitions. It's unbelievable to go toe to toe against these guys because I couldn't beat them in a shoe lace tying contest. You know, after that I realized when I knew I couldn't beat them, and there were some other tough competitors in these competitions, I knew I had to play a different game that I'd never played before. Not because I wanted to but because I HAD to. Thus, I had to play a very ruthless game. I had to get people to trust me, to do things for me, and then I had to stab them in the back because I couldn't beat them in the challenges and they were always more well liked than myself. It's not the most noble way to play this game, but it's what I had to do to get here. When I look around the room, I look at the jury and I see people that all brought something different to the table. Eagle eye Joe - every move I made, he was on me. He even saw through the funeral that I threw - funeral that I had and was the only one who asked me if I was really mad at Danielle or if it was an act. Joe was right. It was an act. So why did I throw the funeral? I threw it for three main reasons. Damn. I'm gonna run out of time." He stops and heads inside to get a timer of some sort from the storage room. He is being careful to open the doors quietly and he puts the timer in his pocket before leaving the storage room (I guess in case anyone got up he didn't want them to see it).
  7. My answer doesn't matter to you. You are simply looking for another opportunity to repeat your inaccurate, untrue stereotypes.
  8. Awwww I love them!!! I so hope they live happily ever after!!!
  9. I respect your opinion regarding Dan but still disagree. I think the coaches were at an unfair disadvantage for the reasons I previously stated. As far as the generalization, I disagree as well and I am firmly against lumping any particular group into a stereotype based on generalizations of any sort. I spoke for myself and my opinion on one particular incident. I did not speak for all Americans nor did I speak against all people in their underwear. If I were to have said I don't like that picture hanging on the wall does that mean I don't like art or that all Americans don't like art? If I said I don't like green beans does that mean I don't like vegetables or that all Americans don't like vegetables? And my biggest issue with your generalization is that you are ASSUMING I'm American in the criticism of my comment. Do you know for sure you are right in that assumption? I think not, and THAT "raises my hackles". You are "imposing some standard" on an entire nationality based on the statement of one individual who may or may not be OF that nationality, which is exactly what you are claiming we "ought not" do. You are completely contradicting yourself, IMO. As a human am I not entitled to have a different opinion than you on a subject without it being a reflection on an entire age group or gender or religion or nationality (none of which you even know about me)?
  10. It's not a game about who needs it more. If it were then they would only let the "needy" play. It's a PRIZE that is EARNED by the best PLAYER. Not a donation. And I disagree with your opinion that the coaches had an unfair advantage. I think they were at a serious disadvantage. Not only were they outnumbered two to one, but their game play had been seen before and they shared their strategy with their players. (And as far as Americans caring what people wear - you really should be careful with generalizations like that. I just said I was sick of seeing IAN in his underwear.)
  11. You know ... another idea that would be in the same vein is to do factual questions that the houseguests have spoken about .... how many siblings does so and so have, what state was so and so born in - stuff like that. They have hundreds of hours of tape ... I'm sure there are things they could come up with and it would force house guests to really get to know each other each year.
  12. Lately he has taken to "swishing" the saliva around in his mouth ... so gross and such an annoying noise!!! Ugh. And I couldn't help but notice that the whole time Danielle was going off on him last night, something Ian himself said after was stressful and annoying, not one twitch or pace or swishing noise. He sure seems to be able to control that urge to stim when he wants to.
  13. I don't know but I miss the old format. And I think it's wrong that the 3rd place person gets no time to debate with the jury.
  14. I don't know about that but I heard her tell Dan that she has scar tissue from her implant that has to be removed. The first time she told the story though she said it was NOT cancerous, just scar tissue. Dan flat out asked if there was a chance it could be cancerous and she told him no it was just scar tissue.
  15. Exactly! And he never washes his dishes and I'm sick of seeing him walking around in his underwear, and I DO say this in a bad way! LOL
  16. I think she'd have better luck with Ian by reminding him that long before he had a deal with Dan the newbies agreed to stick together to get the coaches out. I think she could convince him that if he CHOSE to take Dan the jury would be pissed that he took the coach over the newbie and they'd give it to Dan just because of that. Also the Britney thing - watching the flashback and at the end of the convo she says "You have to think how Britney will react. She hates him (Dan)". She should have taken that one step further and asked Ian if he really thinks he'd have Brit's vote at the end if he kept Dan over Danielle? Does he really think he'd have Britney's vote if Britney knows they'd been "looking out for each" since week whatever when Britney's last words to Ian were to get out Frank then Dan? I think she could have convinced Ian to throw the last part to Dan if she'd gone that route.
  17. I agree. It's very hypocritical though, in my opinion. I thought God was the only one allowed to sit in judgement of man. And do they not realize that Jesus was persecuted for his behavior by all the doubters as well? Support whoever you want. Root for whoever you want. There's just no reason to try to bully those with a different opinion into seeing things your way nor to bash them or persecute them for theirs. Tell others why you think Ian SHOULD win rather than simply saying Dan SHOULDN'T win and that the majority of the world agrees with you. Just my opinion, of course, but even if the "ppl in the real world" were all jumping off a cliff I'm not one to jump too .. especially when I see them all splattering their heads all over the ground at the bottom!
  18. I can't help but think that there's a good chance "ppl in the real world ... who are not diehard BB fans" won't CARE or even know who Dan is! I have a solid group of friends who know I love BB but none of whom watch themselves. I, personally, consider us ALL members of the "real world" and I can say beyond any doubt that not one of them know who Dan is or care what he's done in an effort to win. The only ones who are going to care one way or the other ARE diehard BB fans. And I'm just curious ... why is it so important to you to convince anyone rooting for Dan that they are wrong? My daughter is rooting for Ian. I'm rooting for Dan. She can acknowledge Dan has played a great game but thinks Ian has as well. She can articulate actual reasons she feels Ian should win. She never tells me I'm WRONG in thinking Dan should win. We enjoy watching together and talking about why we like the person we like. I don't get why it is so important to you to convince anyone who thinks Dan should win that they are flat out wrong. If you truly believe someone else deserves to win more than why not try convincing others based on the facts that support your view rather than simply bashing them for theirs and making blanket statements about how the entire rest of the world (a vast number of which I'm guessing you've never even met) feels or thinks?
  19. Glad you liked the line! And whoever said it first regarding his wife being fired is irrelevant ... You are agreeing with the possibility and I accept that as your opinion. I just have a different one - I, personally, don't see any business firing a person because a completely and totally DIFFERENT PERSON lied or because of how a completely and totally different person played a game. I think most businesses hire or fire based on an individual's ability to do the job not on how they play a game that is unrelated to the job or how someone they are related to plays a game.
  20. Well said. lvgal ... you have a right to your opinion and I respect that, but I respectfully disagree and my opinion is that you are a bit coo coo for Cocoa Puffs if you think Dan and everyone he knows or is related to will be fired because of the fact that he is the best player in the history of the game.
  21. I haven't checked flashback for that comment yet but I was watching when the comp first ended and feeds came back on. Ian was saying things to Dan in the sneaker bedroom like "That comment just got you 500k" and Dan was apologizing and saying he'd be the one to cut Dani he didn't care. Ian said "I'm not throwing it to you." and Dan was like no no of course not. After Ian walked out and Dan was alone I could of sworn he said "I'll get you to throw it to me Ian." I'm going back to watch now, as I'm very confused. I can't for the life of me understand why Dan thinks he's better off with Ian at the end ... not because Ian played a better game or anything but because of the ego boost of getting his player to the end. Also - I don't know why Ian gets so much credit for getting Boogie out. The 4 were ready to do it anyway, they just thought it was too soon. All Ian did was speed up the process and cast a vote. PLUS Ian really wanted it to be Frank, not Boogie and it was only because Frank won POV that Ian reluctantly climbed aboard with the plan.
  22. What a quality to admire Boogie for - " He can bag on people with the best of them". Gawd!! I hate Ian!!
